The Tutor Doctor Process:
1. Our Education Consultant comes to your home to conduct a free consultation. We assess your student’s academic needs, identify goals, and learn personality / learning style preferences. Both parents and student(s) get any questions answered about our tutors and our service and jointly choose the tutoring program best fit to their family.
2. We use detailed student profile information to create a custom match of your student with a tutor from our roster of tutors. Our sophisticated multiple-stage matching process includes criteria of focus subject / skills, academic level, personality / learning styles, special needs, geography and schedule.
3. Your assigned tutor begins scheduled visits to your home, creating and delivering a lesson plan 100% tailored to your student, considering the goals established at the consultation.
4. Session Reports are emailed to parents following each tutoring session. Each report allows parents to be current on their student’s progress and provides an up-to-the-minute accounting of all elements of the program.
At Tutor Doctor Colorado Springs, we are 100% committed to your student’s success. We guarantee to provide the highest quality tutors; the most flexibility and convenience for our families; and personalized attention to every aspect of your student’s enrollment.
Our free in-home consultation sets the stage for success and allows us to get to know the student on a personal level so that we can ensure a great tutor match. After the first session we will follow up with you and the tutor to confirm we are on the road to ensuring your student’s success.
If, for any reason you are not confident that the tutor is a great match, we will assign you a different tutor and provide the second session free of charge. If our tutor fails to meet your expectations after the second session, we will refund all unused hours.

SAT & ACT
The SAT test is a standardized admissions test used to rate applicants to undergraduate programs in colleges and universities. Almost all 4 year school requires an SAT score or an ACT to be considered for admissions. The SAT is offered 7 times a year, and there are 3 sections: Critical Reading, Math, and Writing. Each section is scored from 200 to 800. The lowest score you can get on the SAT is a 600; the highest score is a 2400.
Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB)
The ASVAB has 10 tests. Scores from four of the tests - Word Knowledge (WK), Paragraph Comprehension (PC), Arithmetic Reasoning (AR), and Mathematics Knowledge (MK) - are combined to compute the score on what is referred to as the Armed Forces Qualification Test (AFQT). Scores on the AFQT are used to determine eligibility for enlistment in the Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marine Corps. Scores on all of the ASVAB tests are used to determine the best job for you in the military.
Graduate Records Exam (GRE)
Computerized, standardized test that is an admissions requirement for many graduate schools in the United States, in other English-speaking countries and for English-taught graduate and business programs world-wide. It consists of a quantitative section, a verbal section and an analytical writing section
Law School Admission Test (LSAT)
A half-day standardized test administered four times each year at designated testing centers throughout the world. Administered by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) for prospective law school candidates, the LSAT is designed to assess reading comprehension, logical, and verbal reasoning proficiencies
