I went to Georgetown Beauty Bar for an acrylic set after seeing the good reviews. I made an appointment on the website for a specific time. I called ahead of time to let them know I would be 10 minutes late, and I was assured that would be okay. I got there to check-in and it's essentially asking me what I wanted despite already making an appointment online. They asked me if I wanted an acrylic set, and I replied yes, and then they told me to pick out a nail color, and I did. After I found the color I was looking for, a teenager came up to me and asked me again if I was getting an acrylic set, and I said yes. She saw the nail color in my hand and said you can only get one color for an acrylic set ????? what???  Then she asks if I can wait, I said how long, because I do have an appointment and other plans. Then she says they can't do my acrylic set......? I've had an appointment for days, what do you mean? Then as I'm walking outside, someone says that they can actually take me and I say okay. The person made a lot of little mistakes/seemed really nervous which I was totally fine with, and I loved the way my nails initially looked right after and tipped really nicely. However, here I am a week and a day later and the thumb nail has already popped off like cheap pop-on nails. Half of the nails are coming off the cuticle and it looks like I need a fill-in already. Go somewhere else for your money in Georgetown, there's lots of options!

The woman, Vicki, who did my pedicure was in such a “rush”, it was impossible to relax and enjoy some down time. She kept looking out to see who was coming into the salon. I asked if she had another appointment mine was scheduled, not a walk in and she said no. But the worst part of the experience was the person who did the dip powder for my manicure. Apparently, the mail technician was new and not well trained. She applied the wrong color initially and had to completely redo one hand, which took an extra hour. Between the pedicure, removing my  old manicure and applying new powder. I was there 4 hours!!  Still can’t believe I sat though that! And on top of all that, the pedicure didn’t dry in that time and got smudged when I put my shoes on. Now I need to redo the polish, ugh!Services:&nbsp;Dip powder

I am a recent client of Georgetown Beauty Bar for their microblading eyebrow services, and Dawn was amazing! This was my first time getting my eyebrows microbladed and Dawn was so helpful throughout the process to ensure all of my questions were answered. Dawn is a true professional and did excellent work. I highly recommend the numbing cream! Once that is on, I couldn't feel anything. It took about 7 days for my eyebrows to mostly heal, 10 days to fully heal, and the results were great. All of the staff were so professional and friendly! Dawn loves what she does, I highly recommend her for your eyebrow care!

Mircroblading done by Dawn. She was very professional, I appreciate her time taken to ensure I was happy because I am so picky since eyebrows are on your face after all. She was patient and perfection happened! I really recommend if you over plucked some years ago and your brows are just too thin and unhapp? Go  to see Dawn to perfect what your brows and make them what they once were, she is your gal!

I came here for microblading and to get a mani-pedi - I absolutely love my results! Everyone is very friendly at this salon and Dawn did a great, thorough job on my brows! I highly recommend and will be a repeat customer for my nailsServices:&nbsp;Gel manicures

UPDATE: I am changing my review for excellent customer service. Although I stand by the review on the service the owner personally called apologized for my experience and refunded my pedicure.Excellent customer service makes a bad experience just that a one time experience when in DC again I’ll visit and give another try.  I came in for a pedicure with my husband for our 10 year anniversary. We are from out of town and my experience was pretty lack luster. My tech was coughing constantly. At one point I had to ask her to pull her mask back up so she’s not coughing all over my feet.  The chair wasn’t sanitized before we sat down literally a dirty pillow and towel were taken out of the seat no more than 30 seconds before my husband sat down. The tech was also possibly new as she was not able to provide what I asked. I wanted my toes only filed into a square shape. She cut them then filed so low that my toes are hurting. I asked her not to cut again and she proceeded to do it again on the other foot. The nail polish job was ok but it was not a smooth finish.  They were also pretty apprehensive when it came  to doing my husbands pedicure. All in all customer service needs to increase and that tech needs much much more training she just seemed lost the whole time and instead of feeling refreshed my toes hurt from the insane filing and and they look bad with what ever weird shape she decided to go with. She kept asking does it look good I finally had to just say like actually no it doesn’t you didn’t do what I asked. The last straw for me was the inability to give me a receipt that outlined the services I got. We paid 140 for the both of us which is wild because I literally don’t even know what we were charged for. ESPECIALLY  when this girl didn’t even do my feet like I asked .Smh definitely do not recommend this place

I get my nails done here frequently-- and for good reason. The team is so kind and always does an incredible job. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for Gel SNS/dip or eyebrow waxing. I also highly recommend Dawn, who is one of the kindest and most talented people you'll ever meet!Services:&nbsp;Gel manicures
