Meeting with the people at the Behm funeral home in Madison was a good experience with discussing the funeral of my wife. They were very cordial and nice. They was very concerned to make sure everything would work out really well with the funeral, They made sure I understood everything about the funeral and asked me several times if I had any questions about how the service would go. They were very easy to work with and very communicative. They did a great job. The funeral home followed up several times after the funeral to see if I was OK and needed anything. They are great people to work with.
Everyone at Behm was so helpful, attentive and compassionate. Our mom passed away in Florida and Behm took care of everything. From the first phone call, to the last details, my family was so comforted by how beautifully and smoothly everything went with my mom's services in Geneva. Thank you Behm Family Funeral Homes.
I recently had the unfortunate experience of needing the services of Behm Family Funeral Homes, and I must say that they exceeded all expectations in providing exceptional care and support during one of the most challenging times of my life. They have been assisting our family for many years with family members, but this time was the most difficult with it being my mom. From the moment I contacted them to the final arrangements, their professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail were truly outstanding. John and Elizabeth were wonderful. They made the process comfortable. They were very kind and sweet during this time. John went above and beyond of what we asked for. Never pushy. Very patient. We were very pleased.
Behm funeral home has handled 3 funerals for my family. The most recent was my dad’s funeral. The staff was so supportive and helpful during this difficult time. I’m so glad that we used their services.
Death of a parent is never easy. No matter how old they are, there are details - will, finances, medical, closure - that need addressing. The one area my family didn’t need to worry about were the funeral arrangements. The team at Behm stepped us through the process - taking the time, with compassion - to ensure everything was covered. The day of the service was flawless and the follow up was unexpected. The expertise and professionalism of Behm, along with the caring and compassion, made the whole affair complete and my family is grateful for their help and support.
The people of Behm are kind and considerate. The pre planning done by my father made his passing less stressful. The follow up calls and messages from Behm checking in to see if they could be of further service were thoughtful and appreciated.
Did not provide livestreaming services for family viewing period. Late setting up zoom meeting for the actual funeral which is the simplest thing possible. In-person services may be fine, but cannot recommend for anyone with family who can't attend in person.
My husband, David, of 20 years, passed on Christmas Eve. Needless to say I was not prepared for such a devastating blow to my and our family’s lives. I chose to work with Behm because of the many friends that recommended them. Best decision I could have made! Trevor was amazing! From the moment I entered the building he treated me, my daughter and mother like family. He was professional, calming, kind and respectful of my situation. He helped me take care of my husband and our wishes with dignity and within my budget constraints. Not only did he keep his promises but he and his wonderful staff went way beyond. I received texts following every step and after. I got a beautiful letter and several texts that were making sure I was doing ok and pointing me to avenues where I can find solace and ways to positively deal with my grief. I cannot recommend Behm more for anyone and everyone. Please take my endorsement with sincerity. In your most vulnerable time, I very much hope that you trust Behm with this very important decision. My husband Dean, passed away unexpectedly, the team at Behm’s Funeral Home took the pain out of making the plans for Dean’s Celebration of Life , his day was as beautiful as we had hoped that honored our loved one. The day of the service, all team members were there walking us through what to expect and they checked on us during the receiving line to make sure we were doing okay. I would highly recommend anyone to use their services, they go above and beyond. They continue to check on me to make sure I am handling the loss of my best friend.
