Best vet ever Dr Matlock cares about both you and your pets she treats you like family highly recommended

Dr. Matlock takes her time with my pets. She is very kind caring and knowledgeable. I would absolutely recommend her.

This is our Vet Dr Cheryl Matlock, and her very professional and friendly staff. THEY ARE AWESOME, OUR DOG BEAR JUST RUFF EVERYBODY THERE!

Began bringing my dog to Dr. Matlock on the recommendation of a friend after I moved to Shreveport to attend medical school. Dr. Matlock has a tremendous wealth of knowledge and experience that I was able to benefit from with my 8-year-old golden retriever's history of trigeminal neuralgia. For reference, in Baton Rouge, all the vets in our home clinic all piled in the room because they had never seen a single case of it When I brought her in for what I thought was a recurrence of the trigeminal neuralgia, she was able to examine her for about two minutes before figuring out that she actually had a sprained muscle in her neck. We took the prescribed anti-inflammatories for a couple days and she was good as new. Dr. Matlock was also able to share that in the many cases of trigeminal neuralgia she had seen over the years, she had never seen a dog suffer a repeat episode after the first attack, which has kept me off of pins and needles for a couple of years, as I was always waiting for the next recurrence. Dr. Matlock is no-nonsense and will tell you what is best for your animal. Her services are also reasonably priced for the area, especially when you consider her long experience.

This place is awesome. The doctor really loves animals and you can tell by the care she takes with each one.

You can't go in with your pets but the doctor comes out to tell you the update. This was my first time going and I was almost overcharged but it was corrected before I left. Everyone there is nice

They always take care of my fur baby and I have no qualms about letting her go alone with the tech because they treat her so well. They are currently taking pets via curbside. Blanca my fur baby does better without me being with her and she's not usually friendly to people she doesn't see regularly. Kudos to Bellevue Animal Hospital

Cheryl is awesome. The office is very friendly and helpful. They have taken care of all our dogs. Over the years from me and my boyfriend we have had about 20 dogs taken care of at the Bellevue Road Animal Hospital. Great people with great service.

Dr. Matlock truly cares about her patients. Wonderful bedside manner. She is also very smart and dedicated - you will never feel like "a number." The staff is kind and caring.

We love coming here! You always feel like you are with someone you can trust. Plus, they don't push you to buy the most expensive foods, etc. They talk through different options. They work around your schedule. They will try to squeeze your loved one in - even if that means leaving your pet there for a little while and coming back to pick them up. They carry a wide range of pills for your animals, it is always clean, and so much more... Most importantly - staff is always GREAT!!!!!!
