One of the coolest finds in Bellingham. I told them the general type of books I liked and one of the workers gave me in depth descriptions of about eight books they picked out for me. I felt like I had an appointment with a cool book sage. The books I’ve gotten are weird in the best way and have become new favorites.
Volunteer-run, co-op style library space and all-ages venue with a curated collection specializing in independent press, "alternative" lifestyle and history, all housed in a beautiful renovated church space. Hosts everything from live music and movie nights, to poetry readings, puppet shows and workshops. Check it out or get involved. Currently membership to take books home is $5/mo, event cover varies
That was an accident, my pixl phone asks for reviews when I go places. I always love going to the alternative library! No bad review here! I hope to see you guys back up again somewhere soon and hopefully permanent!
This place makes a great venue for a show where the music is appreciated. The old church build caters to the aucustics but the energy here is awesome and makes it even better.
Lovely book collective. It's definitely affordable. Five bucks goes a whole month and there's no late fees. Check this place out!
One of the most unique libraries I've ever visited--best selection of graphic novels anywhere and extensive collections of alternative readings.
Old church, lots of different and mainstream books, stand up piano, comfy couches, and sometimes a resident cat. My mind of place
I really appreciate this place There needs to be more libraries like this
