Trailer park is nice and they are updating a lot but there is not nearly enough parking at the trailer or at the golf course. GPS carts are extremely annoying and won't let you drive anywhere at all off the current hole. I would say the parts of the course they actually try to maintain are very nice but the weeds that separate fairways are ridiculously thick and 6 feet tall in some places. The second cut is almost nothing before the abyss of weeds start. High handicappers are going to lose so many balls here and find very little because of weeds. The greens are fast and tricky enough without the pin placements being unnecessarily challenging for the most part. I just think if this course is mostly for resort people then it should be a little more friendly to high handicappers.
Have purchased the stay and play deal on underpar for the last 2 years now with a group of 12. Great value all things considered. Course was well maintained and fun to play, staff was very friendly and helpful. The cottages leave much to be desired but we spent most of our time outside anyways. The washroom is very small, and the water pressure in the shower is poor. Any adult men who have to sleep in the bunk bed room will also struggle a bit. Parking situation was a challenge as the main lot is very small and only 1 car allowed at the cottage even though you can easily fit 2 without blocking the road. Would still recommend and will continue to return in the future as long as they offer a similar deal.
Great course absolutely stunning. We stayed for three days of golf. The cabins were clean though we didn't have internet or cable in one of the 2 our group stayed in. The customer service was decent. The lack of dining area is a concern and the GPS carts lock up even while on the cart path sometimes. The on course beverage cart also wasn't seen enough.
Was there for a stay and play best part was the golf course. Now the bad only allows 1 car in a 2 car driveway unless u pay another 30 dollars a night for second car. when we booked the stay and play we told them it was for my husband and his 7 friends all adults they gave them 2 cottages that had bunk beds and u had to weigh under 200 lbs to climb the ladder to get into them. 1 cottage had wiring sticking out the wall and no tv hooked up. Fire pit was in driveway and chairs were so dirty couldn’t use them to sit outside. One of the decks had splinters sticking up that if u weren’t wearing shoes and one stuck u looking at a nasty cut grass was not cut had to go to clubhouse to get firewood as none was left at trailer/cottage. Next day went to clubhouse to check in for golf 2 employees seemed like they could care less or just didn’t want to be there. Found them very unpleasant. Got home and call to address my concerns 3 times but no one call back so here is my review
18 hole golf course overlooking Rice Lake. Although it is fairly open, it is quite a good challenge. Carts equipped with GPS can be a bit frustrating, but also helpful in tracking and scoring.Service: 5/5
We are cottage owners and have had the absolute worst experience. The only reason we keep our cottage is for family time, however the service and communication from the actual resort is terrible. Never expect anything from this resort other than disappointment and frustration.Rooms: 1/5
Awesome golf course, really enjoyed our time on it. Our cottage had no hot water and WiFi that never worked, plus it would be nice to have a place to grab lunch. Lots of potential here!
Great course, only down side is when we tried to call in a food order from the 9th hole it went straight to message. But all in all great course.Service: 5/5
Very nice golf course! Great greens! Challenging course. Beautiful lake views.
Did the overnight stay and play. Wow. Golfed 60 holes in 32 hours. Great course. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Price is very reasonable. This is a must stay and play.
