My cousin and I camped at this Park for the first time Aug 11-13, 2023. We participated in the Lift Lock Event. This Park is very clean and well managed. Their new comfort station completed in 2020 is absolutely amazing! Well designed! Would definitely come back here again! Thank you Beavermead Park for your hospitality!Location: 5/5
Always a fan of Beavermead beach and playground. We come a couple times annually for a full day of fun. The lifeguards are honest and updated on water quality, and the grounds are always kept neat. Thank you!Service: 4/5
We went camping in July of 2023. It was absolutely wonderful The area is beautiful, the employees keep the washrooms and the grounds neat and tidy. They are also very nice and helpful! The resturant called The Cabin has delicious food and super great, friendly service.Service: 5/5
Seriously amazing beach. Great swimming. No weeds. Shallow for kids but can go out past the rope if you want deeper. Big park. Nice sand.Location: 5/5
Nice little Campground. Little lake is usually so calm. Lovely place to kayak. Spent several days in the area Exploring.Rooms: 5/5
A nice little campground right in the heart of Peterborough. Not for the back country back packing types. Lol but great for families looking to explore a new and gorgeous part of our country. Staff are friendly. Bathrooms are clean. Showers could be hotter but I’ve had worse. Lol. Security in the park overnight. It’s safe. Lots of cool stuff close by. Little lake is beautiful. A short paddle from the lift lock and the enormous fountain. A short drive to river view zoo, Warsaw caves, petroglyphs. Gorgeous swimming in the river. Great place.
Amazing little gem hidden in Peterborough. Nice camping area. Water all around for fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and even swimming. Nice beach and play area for the kids. Pet friendly. Very reasonable price. Definitely will visit again. Lots of trails and even a dog park close by.Service: 5/5
Come and enjoy the spoils of the Otonabee River at a family-friendly, amenity-packed community park. Enjoy camping, swimming at the beach, and plenty of other outdoor activities. My only complaint - and it is a very high browed one - is that the volleyball courts are too close to each other. During leagues, we spill over into each others courts and have to stop play consistently due to errant balls. Boo hoo.
Great camping site for trailers and camping. It is owned by the city of Peterborough, and it's very clean and not too expensive. It has a beach and next to the trans-Canada trail.Location: 5/5
It is overall a good spot in the city. We arrived from the states at 1pm in an emergency situation...my daughter was very ill in hospital. Our assigned spot was empty, as were those around it. I asked if we could drive to site early...not even hook up to get her asap. We were told that check in was at 2pm. That was the RULE. Been RVing for many years and have never encountered such poor customer service...just lack of caring. Rules can, and must, be bent sometimes.
