Here is a guide to calculate how much space each person will occupy, depending on the type of event:
Ceremony.............................................12 sq ft/ person
Cocktail Hour.......................................15 sq ft/ person
Served Dinner......................................20 sq ft/person
Buffet Dinner.......................................25 sq ft/ person
Other elements also add to the overall size of the tent:
Bar Area....................................................add 200 sq ft
Dance Floor.....................................add 4 sq ft/ person
Band.................................................add 20 sq ft/ piece
DJ................................................................add 48 sq ft
