Street Soccer at Dutch Branch Park, Benbrook, TX! Come play pick-up footy with us every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00pm until the lights turn off. EVERYONE is welcome to come and EVERYONE will get playing time. It is all completely FREE!
Set of simple and basic rules:
- 5v5 on the field
- Play until 1 goal or 5 minutes have passed
- Winner stays on. In case of a tie after 5 minutes, both teams get off, two new teams get on
- Fair play (call your own fouls as they happen, call your own outs as they happen)
- No hands (even for the guys standing in front of the goals)
- Clean up after yourself (otherwise city of Benbrook won't let us use facilities for free anymore)
- It is COMPETITIVE so no crying over getting beat by other team all the time. Use the tears as motivation for getting better as a player!
- No fighting, no slide tackling (unless you wanna do that on hard surface)
We play at Dutch Branch Park, Benbrook, TX
It is NOT the soccer field with the grass, it is the soccer fields all the way in the back by tennis courts (next to horse stables).
