Very nice park. Good knowledgeable and friendly staff. Ranger John is awesome and super helpful!!! A sense of security is so welcomed these days and the showers are hot and the rentals are very well kept!Rooms: 5/5
By FAR the best pickleball courts of the 5 we visited this year! Other players were friendly and welcoming! Sites are large, some are shady and most are level, but it is pretty dusty there. Pools were pretty full. The staff was helpful.Service: 5/5
Trip was great. Space was big and had trees. Spaces are all electric and water no sewer. Sewer dump onsite. Several full-time campers but all nice. Ran into one camper dumping tanks off back of site unknown if grey or black Told ranger as it can be health hazard, they stopped and moved sites and we got new neighbors. Ranger were very responsive and knowledgeable. Pool closed a couple of days but it was posted at front. Clean well used laundry worked well with app. No quarters accepted. At the time we went no campfires were allowed but propane fires were ok so we still had smores. Store on site has essentials plus fun things and rabbit food for the most adorable bunnies running around. Storefront built up like an old ghost town/fort. Very fun and enjoyable trip. Bend is about 20 minutes north.
Nice campground. We scored a great spot with lots of room plus 50a and water hookups. The dump station was a disappointment with a long line and a sign stating to ony open your valves halfway as it drains slow.Rooms: 5/5
Really disappointing experience. The pool/hot tub was closed 3 out of the 5 days we stayed…on Labor Day weekend. There is no sewer at the sites and wifi is via a 3rd party which doesn’t actually work. So a rainy weekend and we have no internet, no hot tub or pool and everyone’s responses across the board are “oh well”. Every person who works here has the same attitude of “oh well, nothing works. Not our problem ‍” We received a free year membership with the purchase of our trailer. I would be getting a refund if we’d paid for it but now it makes complete sense as to why they’re offered for free.
Great! RV campground. Probably the best place I have stayed. Very large lots. Honestly you could fit two RVs in these lots. Nice wooded feel. Lots of cute bunnies. Close to all the mountain stuff but not so close to bend. No sewer at the sites though, little bummer. Oh and my Verizon internet modem works great. Tmobile not so much.
They always are friendly and have a place for kids to use a bathroom and stretch their legs our! It's a great place for kids to run some energy off or read a book for a bit in their library for some quiet time. They have a great little store on site for snacks and drinks if hour on the road.Hotel highlightsKid-friendly
I would not recommend this campground to anyone. Any State campground has equal amenities for way less money. Don’t be fooled by the website descriptions of “amenities”. Mini golf is in an unkept field. The pool is not open, a disaster and no signs of actual work going on to fix it. It is not on the Little Deschutes river. There are not any real boating or paddling opportunities from the campground. The showers were not maintained. There is a very nice pickle ball court, if that is your thing. The location is great! It is close to Sunriver and many other outdoor activities. Prior to coming we received numerous emails from Thousand Trails to do online check in. That is what we did. We followed the directions online. When we arrived we were promptly scolded by the person in the booth. It seems this campground has decided to not use the system corporate has set up. Made for a fairly unpleasant arrival. We won’t be coming back.
I stayed here a few years ago and it was awful. The tennis/pickle ball courts were in disrepair which by reading reviews say are fixed the pool didn’t work, they didn’t have balls for the mini golf because of “Covid Safety” yet it was late 2021 at this point. When we went to inquire about this my mom was asking “when will x be fixed” and a different employee who we weren’t talking to said “when the golf balls get here”. Absolutely horrible experience.
Pool has sat in disarray. No attempt to finish. Miniature golf looks very sad. Club house has not been maintained. Thousand trails could have a gem of a spot if they cared about improvements. Was thinking about joining but have quickly realized it is a numbers game of how many memberships they can get with as little upkeep as possible. So Sad Curt
