The camp spots are absolutely beautiful but we are in spot 30 and there is absolutely no way to level our RV. 29 seems more level. We tried for hours and hours, had a close call with our trailer sliding. This particular spot has a water view but the fire pit is about 75 ft from our camper, past some brush so you don’t have a line of sight from trailer to fire pit. Vault toilets were clean and well maintained and everyone around us was friendly.
Peaceful, relaxing, beautiful, the water is so clear it's a nice camp ground and beautiful lake. Don't miss the night view of the sky you will see the whole galaxy. The only down side is beach is made of added gravel so if you walk bare foot and have a pet be careful. Both of my friends dogs had foot injury. It was very windy and although it's a beautiful lake it's peaceful no crowds.
Beautiful camping in the trees next to a gorgeous lake. Clean toilets and Archie the camp host was very helpful and informative. Restrooms: The vault toilet was as clean as I've seen.
If you are looking for a campsite that has it all look no further! Cabins by the lake tent camping rv and trailer camping boat ramp on site litter tackle shop with light groceries fun water actives like water bicycle, paddle board and canoes this is an amazing campsite with docks on site and the water is crystal clear. It has an amazing view of mountains peaking over the tree line over the lake. This is definitely a great place to camp!
Holy smokes! What a great campground! We stayed in the yurts for $40/night, it slept 6 and had a table and a wood stove for cold nights. Outside the yurt was enough personal space and had a fire pit, and picnic table. Crescent lake was also lovely, it was a little shocking to get into at first but once submerged it quickly became a comfortable water temperature, and the water was incredibly clear! My family had so much fun snorkeling the waters and looking at the reeds, rocks and sun rays through the water. The beach was nice to lay on, but there wasn’t a lot of shaded areas so if you go in the summer an umbrella is a must. We played volleyball on the beach and the sand is primarily made from pumice stones and was very rough on bare feet, so do not forget water shoes! My family had so much fun, we will be returning next summer!
This campground is superb. Crescent lake could be one of the most pristine lakes in the Cascade Range. It’s higher elevation, alpine trees, clear water, and a perfect destination for anyone who wants to escape the hustle of life. Our family and friends love this place. The ability to kayak, paddle board, water ski or just swim and explore the beautiful water is amazing. The camp sites are well equipped, spacious and clean. The bathrooms, potting water stations and dumpsters are plentiful. As for the weather, it’s a mixed bag, but the rest is ideal.
Love this campground! Despite being built on the side of a hill, the camping spots are spaced far enough apart to not feel crowed. The lake is gorgeous at sunrise and it offers some sandy, albeit, rocky beaches to lounge on or take a swim in some beautiful cool water. Bring mosquito repellent. Make sure garbage bags left at camp are sealed tight. We had a little chipmunk get into a bag of ours and couldn't get out. Luckily we ended back at camp sooner rather than later and let the poor little guy out.
Great Campground with several lakefront sites. There is ample vegetation & space between most sites with fairly good privacy. Site 13 isn't recommended for little ones or elderly because most of the site is fairly steep & uneven. That said there are many level sites throughout. The smell from the toilet was a bit bothersome, so I'd recommend picking a site a few spots away. There were numerous toilets which makes it nice and easily accessible from nearly all sites. The lake access was great & people tend to respect people's space & belongings. The Resort next door rents out Paddle Boards, Jet Ski's, Kayaks, etc by the hour which is nice. Beware of the chipmunks. Those cute little buggers will def get into any food that is left out or in your tent.
Love this place so much. Second time here & we will be coming back! The only thing this place is missing is showers Restrooms: The restrooms are plentiful, clean and always well stocked. Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly, with varying sizes of camp spots. Our 1st one was big, but this one is HUGE. My dog is having a wonderful time.
Very beautiful camping spot. The lake is great to swim in and so clear. It's very rocky so I'd recommend water shoes.
