In fast growing Berkeley County WV , in spite of work overload, Environmental Health department has been very efficient and helpful. Whenever I needed they provided me the information with a kind and timely manner.
They were super helpful.. Took my kids to get there immune shots the lady was so awesome on how she delivered the shots to all 3 kids.. And there was no fee
The people who work at the health department have been nothing but wonderful. My family and I have been in for flu shots, community education, and homebirth supplies. Each experience has been better than expected. I'm proud to have these people serving our community.
Extremely busy and understaffed with vaccinations. Leave a message it can take 48 to 72 hours to get back to you please be patient there is only 6 people and they are stretched thin
Not exactly sure about the complaints but I will say Kelley is great! She listens to my problems and finds solutions fast. Always so considerate and easy to talk to. The women at the front seem pretty nice to me as well no complaints what so ever !
I went to the Berkeley county health department to get my flu shot on Friday September 27, 2019. I was there about 11:45 am-12:00 PM. I got in right away as there was hardly anyone in the waiting room. When I went back a very nice nurse sorry I did not catch her name with blond hair administered the shot. I have to say I hardly even felt the needle and I NEVER experience any soreness the rest of the day or even Saturday morning! She was wonderful and knew what she was doing! Please tell her what a great job she did! Kudos to you for having such a good employee! Nancy Chapman
Excellent service for free or payed medical needs. Has free handicap parking and entrance with bathrooms available. Testing for disease control and pregnancy.
Very disappointed in this office. During all of the issues with COVID-19 that businesses are facing, they are not willing to work with a business. We lost over 90% of our sales due to COVID19, and yet we were harassed for our permit payment not being there by the due date. They said we would be shut down if the payment was not there by the due date despite being able to provide proof that we made a payment and everything was dependent on the USPS. Kristen, the rep. I worked with, was very matter of fact and uncaring about the matter. Again, very disappointed in this office for the lack of compassion with the businesses in their area.
