Excellent library and friendly helpful staff. They have a great selection of books and if they don’t have a book, they are able to get it for you.
It ended up ok but it started out pretty bad. I have loved libraries and librarians since I was a child. I've never hesitated to ask for book recommendations. Today when I asked for suggestions for my 8 year old one of the ladies helped by asking what kind of books she likes the other chided me for speaking too quietly. They did not recommend a single book. I truly felt bad so we left. I did call back to say I was disappointed by the experience. The librarian I spoke to was very kind and helpful. She chose some books for me to pick up.
Smallest library I've ever been in, but very nice none the less. I wish the selection was wider, but I do enjoy studying at one of the tables inside with my own books/work.
Daniel Island is UBER helpful and resourceful. Tim and staff always go over and above in helping you to discover resources and new treasures in the books and media.
Tim and staff go over and above to help. They are very knowledgeable. For a small library they accommodate all your needs.
A small facility; the library doesn't accurately reflect the Daniel Island affluent community. It is not equipped with the tools necessary to engage young learners.
The loudest library, by far, that I have ever visited. Unfortunately, it is the closest to my house so I must come here. Ear plugs are an absolute must
