We were a last min check in. The front desk was awesome. Our TV did not work so right away he switched us to a different room. They have a small breakfast. Rooms were clean and remind me of my grandparents house. Very welcoming. The only thing that was a downfall is that there is no weekly rate at all. Which is the only disappointment.

This motel sucks! The rooms were very nasty, the air conditioner didn't function properly. It left the room with a stuffy feel. The floors felt wet and there was an odor. I tried switching room but they were booked like everyone else due to Hurricane Matthew and his aftermath. They also charged me twice! They ran my card twice without telling me. The first time the receipt read error. The second time it said insufficient funds.  I explained to the lady behind the night window that I transferred the monies for the room into that account upon arrival. And I also confirmed the transaction was complete. She told me there was nothing she can do, and I can pay again and speak to the manager in the morning. I told her I can pay cash but I would need my cash back in the morning. She said ok, she couldn't do it but I should have no problems in the morning. She then gave me a hand written receipt for the cash and the two credit card attempt receipts. In the morning the I showed the manager all the receipt and pulled my bank account up online to show her my transaction history where it show the name of the motel the amount, etc.. I requested my cash back and the manager told me she couldn't do that. I told her I need to speak with someone who could. She then called the owner and the owner told her to tell me I had to wait until Monday so she can prove the card actually was used. Even after everything I showed her. I told her that was unacceptable. She then gave me the owners number to call myself. I called numerous times back to back and nobody answered and the voice-mail was full. I then left my number for the owner to call me back. Here it is Sunday afternoon and I haven't heard from anyone. Terrible!

Wasn't a bad place to stay overall. It had some luxuries that other places I've stayed at didn't, such as microwave and refrigerator. But also didn't have some things that others do have, such as complementary shampoos and conditioners, nor a hair dryer, coffee maker, or even an ironing board. But still not a bad place to stay.

When I checked in on 5/3/17 the man at the front desk seemed drunk. Also they charged my card twice and have not credited my account yet. I have called them 3 times and spoke with them but they do not follow up.The first room He gave me had not been cleaned. The only reason I stayed is because it was late and the only room in the area. The only reason I gave them 1 star is I have no choice. They did finally credit my card back

Absolutely NO words! Bed not made in first room, looks like someone slept in it, switched rooms, NO better.  Feces on toilet, bathroom appears to never have been cleaned EVER. Trash on floor, lock on door broken, hair and dirt on microwave, lamp shades cracked up, smoke detector ripped out, I only gave a star so that I could comment.

This one is the bottom of the barrel.  The room is filthy, the mistresses are discolored, greasy hand prints on the wall, other stains on the wall, bath room area is a nightmare.  I will NEVER stay here again.  I will never recommend it to anyone.  The lady at the counter has a horrible attitude.  Unfortunatley there are no other hotels available or I would immediately leave.

Very nasty. Hair in bed tub and in towels like nothing was changed just put back after the last guest. Asked for clean sheets they only had one clean sheet they could give me. 90$ for a three hour nap afyer driving 12 hrs.the only rhong good i have to sy about the place is the front desk lady was very nice.

Stayed there for a week fishing at night. I have been staying there for last 10 yrs but will not longer. I could not get front desk people to even make a pot of coffee to take fishing. The worst place to have to stay. No longer will we be staying at this place. The place is being taken over by crackheads and thieves. Sleep in the woods is better than this place.

Stayed there 2010filthy gross nothing was clean smelt like wet nasty dog bugs roaches spiders had 2 change rooms 4 times. Had a 8hr drive &couldn't drive any farther so we had 2 stay there  I'd sleep in the woods next rather than stay there  needs Dechec major in there

I live near this place. i have not been at that place, but just by seeing what it looks like on the outside. it looks like a worn down motel. by reading the comments, i agree with them, HOW IS THAT SUCK ASS HOTEL STILL IN BUSINESS, Y'ALL SUCK. MONCKS CORNER INN HAS A 4.5 RATING. WAY BETTER THAN THIS TRASH.&gt;:
