Jane, a former midwife, Cordon Bleu Cook, and one of Bermuda’s premier runners and former May 24th Winner, started Pilates in 1997. She became so passionate about the method; she then took it a step further to become a “Guild Certified Pilates Instructor” under the direct tutelage of Romana Kryzanowska in New York.
Seeing a need for Authentic Pilates in Bermuda, Jane and partner Cal opened up Bermuda Bodyworks Ltd. - which has established it self as Bermuda's No:# 1 Pilates Studio.
Jane continues her Pilates education by employing the best Pilates instructors and by making frequent trips to New York for workshops and study with Master teacher Romana Kryzanowska and daughter Sari Mejia Santo. Other mentors have been Bob Leikens, Ton Voogt, Michael Fritze, Roxanna Morata, Dorothee Van de Walle, Brooke Siler to name a few.
Jane is known for working together with her clients to meet their personal goals with clarity, energy and genuine caring.
Bermuda Bodyworks is dedicated to the preservation of the Original Pilates system as it was passed on to Romana Kryzanowska by Joseph Pilates in 1967 and seeks to maintain Pilates in its Purest Form.
All Instructors at Bermuda Bodyworks are Certified through Romana's Pilates.
