Small quiet park with a multipurpose room. I like to stop here and take naps. Too bad they lock the park down at night.
All right I keep falling asleep in public places but the thing is the woods have like a lot of bugs and every time you go into the woods you get bit like so bad words you don't even want to be alive it's horrible okay so I fell asleep there and woke up and people were nice. I understand it's a Park where kids play and the fact of me sleeping there at a time where kids are there playing would be unacceptable. The problem is I was asleep and couldn't wake up but as soon as I woke up I left. Still unacceptable but I was glad not to be ridiculed called names or whatever people usually do when you do something that's would be considered unacceptable. They keep up their work very good and the ladies inside are very nice
We were the only one's there at the park when we went & it was during the holidays so that was surprising. My daughter enjoyed playing at this park. I know she would prefer to play with other kids but, with social distancing right now, it was probably for the best that we were there by ourselves. There is a bridge right next to this park that crosses over the main roadway in the area & my daughter really gets a kick out of walking over it & watching all of the cars go by underneath. There was more than one slide at this park which my daughter loved so I would say that, yes, we definitely liked it here & we had fun.
The sherrifs, department of health nurses were very nice and took great help in taking care of our needs, and keeping us very safe and informed. Feed us, had movie, rock painting.etc.
It was nothing too write home about it’s just a park in COCOA
We were able to have our annual Mosquito Beaters gathering again! Only place big enough! Although Covid kept many away this year. So glad to be back!
The playground there has many derogatory words written in permanent marker. I would not take my kids there if they are reading age. Someone should remove them.
I like this park compared to the "park" off of Canaveral groves. The only thing I could say I guess I don't like about this park is there isn't anything separating the park from the road that leads back to the rec center. This makes me nervous for the littler ones that don't listen. Also isn't it a little odd we're seeing more newer parks with out swings? Hmmmm.
Nice park for the kids. Handicap accessible. Decent place to watch a rocket launch---there's still a small tree line, but it beats all the traffic of other places when you try to go home after.
There's a fresh new park there but the driveway isn't made clear, there's no swings for children, and not great seating out of the sun or rain. It's a nice park just quite small...
