Need a passport? Need great customer service? Heck just need a stamp or a lift in your spirits drop in and say hi to Geri a star or Quentin a joy! These two lovely humans love what they do and it shows. Geri took care of my passport needs in under 10m and Quentin brought the kindness. So grateful I stopped in. The Berwyn post office is brimming with expertise and great service. Thanks to both! 5 stars each!!
I would rate this place with 0 stars if I could do it. We went to make a change of address for the delivery of our mail. The person who took care of us did it in a very bad way. He and his partner were very rude to us. We gave him a passport from our country and he looked at it contemptuously. Unfortunately, ignorance is everywhere. Avoid going to this office, unless USPS takes action and teaches manners to these "public servants".
Dawn is a really hard worker and has a pleasant and professional attitude. Today she was by herself and had a line of 8 people, she breezed through everyone fast and managed to apologize to everyone for the wait. She also makes sure we always get our stamps. Thank you Dawn! :
I wish post offices would carry more priority boxes that aren’t flat rate and have those out in the open, Im not really sure why they don’t to be honest! But the guy at the front really helped me out by digging around for one so I could mail my package, and the lady at the desk was very charming. Maybe i’ll start coming here instead of the one closer to me!
Warning. Mail always gets lost in this post office with tracking number. Do not drop off mail here.
This absolute joke of a post office has "lost" my packages on multiple occasions, this is twice now they have misplaced my EXTREMELY time sensitive medication and that it's seemingly nowhere to be found. They don't even pretend to care. Imagine if YOUR loved one was missing their seizure medicine which can be very expensive hence why people are using online pharmacies now. We put our trust in you to get these essential items to us!! **I have NEVER had my mail misplaced before moving to Berwyn. I've been here less than two years and they've managed to lose 5 of my packages. Unbelievable and completely unacceptable. Packages will be marked as delivered yet they will not have even attempted delivery. Or worse, it never says delivered and no one in the office has any clue what has happened to it. I have half a mind to believe that these incompetent employees are looting packages for themselves. I used to have the utmost respect for the USPS and postal employees but this post office has single handedly changed that. You people should be ashamed, you're robbing us hardworking people of our money, time, resources, medication, etc so you can sit on your rump earning government wages doing nothing. Disgusting.
I would actual Give them 0 stars. My packaged actually arrived in Berwyn on its expected delivery date of Dec 1st. I never got it delivered, I tracked the package and 5 days later it’s lost somewhere in Texas! How does this even happen!
Liers. Did not even attempt delivery. No footage on my ring doorbell camera that anyone attempted delivery. Lazy delivery people don’t want me to pick up my package or even redeliver. Very bitter returning my stuff to sender. Hang up the phone when I asked when I can get my package. Refuse to provide badge number. Lady who works there is also very rude. Brandon does not care about doing his job. His job is to ignore your request & get you off the phone. Makes sense why the rest of the employees have the same nasty behavior because they are all unprofessional together.
The lady who processed our newborn's passport application did a fantastic job. a civil servant who takes pleasure in her work and is acquainted with the procedures. She was also considerate and kind. Unfortunately, we were forced to schedule a second visit because the Melrose Park Post Office is out of the loop regarding what to do when a newborn doesn't yet have a social. The employee we had at Melrose Park is the reason why so many people have little faith in public servants. Finding the staffer at Berwyn for our second visit was such a relief. We appreciate the excellent government employee at Berwyn who handled our daughter's passport appointment.
Very disappointed. When our regular carrier is working our service is excellent. Packages ALWAYS picked up. When a sub is on, they 2 out of 5 times they don't. Even when I catch them delivering our mail and ask them about packages they say they'll be back and then don't show up. My business relies on USPS picking up packages daily. For the last 2 days they have not picked up. I've received confirmation emails saying that they have, but they have not. I have a ring doorbell and NO ONE has come. I had to bring the packages to the post office myself last minute at 6:40 last night and wait in a line for 20 minutes. I don't feel comfortable being in there because of the virus. People coming in without masks to mail letters. The counter person was very nice and suggested calling the supervisor. I did try all day yesterday before coming in, but the number was busy ALL DAY! They had to take it off the hook. I tried every 10-15 minutes ALL DAY. Today I tried calling several times from 9:10 am and the phone just rings and rings.
