John Kwan(POPS) was a old school meat butcher for over 40 yrs when he dreamed of opening a good ole burger joint. He said it'd be great not having to go to the store and having to buy bgr meat, buns, lettuce, tomatoes etc. and do it for people at a great price. In being a butcher Pops knew a thing or two about processing the meat OURSELVES which means no additives and preservatives unlike our competition's "Laced fresh meat"! We cook our patties on a flame broiler to imitate the ole charcoal grill you have at home. We also sell some good Cantonese style Chinese food with it for a lil variety! In the summer of 1983 Pop's dream, Best Burger was born. John and Bing Kwan worked it for a number of years and passed the torch to Manuel and Patrick. Our food is freshly made to order and since we're family run, we really do care and take great pride in our business. We have a small town atmosphere where we know many customers by name. Our burgers are famous, we hardly ever advertise, word from our customers do it for us! Isn't that the best form of advertisement?! Michael Berry at 740AM talk show once called me personally to talk about my bgrs, other radio stations have mentioned about us many times also. We've even been on tv too....and not on Marvin Zindler! Lol! People from all parts of town know about our burgers, in being affordable they can burn that extra gas knowing that they'll have a satisfying meal.
