These guys were very helpful in helping me get a deal I saw online. I was having trouble linking my T-mobile account through the website but the reps were patient enough and helped resolve the confusion. Very seamless and supportive experience. I try to buy from Best Buy heh before Amazon now.
We found what we were looking for and were able to purchase at excellent sale price. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. The store is clean and well organized but I was a little disappointed that some of the other items i was interested in looking at had limited offerings. Still, a good resource for what they carry.
I'd give it zero stars if I could. I went in to purchase a laptop. I picked it out, but could not get a salesman to help as he was busy. I asked a bunch of other staff to help, but their response was that it was not their department. They were all standing around doing nothing. I was ready to purchase the laptop and only wanted their help to get it from the back. No chance of that happening. Their suggestion was to order it online. I went across to Costco and picked it up in 5 minutes. Never going back to the lousy service of Best buy.
I have shopped BB more than 10 years, have not encountered any serious problem. I bought most of my electronics here. Customer services are helpful. Merchandise layout of display are not the best but sufficient. When I shop, I prefer to physically feel, see, play with the products to make sure I found what I am looking for. Bestbuy assures I have the best products. I am happy shopping here.
TL;DR: Don’t buy open box items from this store if you value your time. I ordered an "Open Box - Excellent" Apple product for delivery from this store to my home, which is about 20 minutes away. It wasn't delivered on the scheduled day, so I called the store number and they told me they weren't sure if it was in stock and it would be easier to get it sorted out if I went to the store. When we went to the store, we were initially told that it was an online order and they couldn't do anything. The staff was only willing to try to facilitate a pickup when we repeatedly emphasized what we had been told over the phone. After waiting ~20 minutes we finally got the item. However, once we went back to our car and opened the item, we noticed it was not in "excellent" condition with "no damage", as had been claimed - the keyboard had been obviously scratched by the original purchaser and some keys were not level. When we went back in to return the item, the staff did not acknowledge that the item had been misclassified based on Best Buy's own standards but mentioned that "the manager might let us give you a discount by pricing it in 'satisfactory' condition". The item should have obviously been sold as 'satisfactory' at best in the first place so that didn’t make much sense. We then attempted to return the item, but were told that, for technical reasons, they could not accept the return immediately and we had to come back to the store or another location 1-2 hours later. At this point we had lost all confidence so we decided to kill an hour and come back to return the item and be done with it. When we made it back to the store, we were told that it might actually take up to 24 hours before a return could be accepted, but we apparently got lucky and the return went through. The receipt that they said would be sent via email never showed up. It’s amazing that nearly everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong. We ended up wasting over an hour picking up a damaged item and trying to return it.
I just bought a Lenovo laptop 3 weeks ago, and a blue screen show up since the first time I opened my laptop after a night before I was working on it. And this was happening every time I didn't power off the laptop. So, I went to ask first to the store if that was normal, and I showed him the picture that I had taken. He said I should bring over the computer because I didn't take the computer at that moment. The next day, I took the computer, and they sent me to the guys for service. But, a "very nice guy" there told me they can't do anything because that was a software issue, and I explained I just bought that computer and I couldn't get another answer that "it is a software issue and we can't do anything here, only if is a hardware problem". So just to make sure I ask him for next time shopping "if there's a problem with the software in any device that I'm buying here, I won't get help from Best Buy so, that means I should find help or fix this by myself in other place unless is hardware" and he says "yes". So, I just have to say thank you Best Buy... for nothing. Awesome customer service, and next time... lol. Of course, there's no next time.
Great location, easy to find, very clean and organized electronics store located in Milpitas. Everyone here was really nice, despite being short staffed due to the labor shortage. The parking lot was relatively safe since this is far away from most city centers. If you’re looking for something specific, I’d recommend you look on the BestBuy app and confirm that it’s at this store. Many of the shelves were empty due to probably staff shortages so I had to ask them to fetch what I wanted from the back. Shop online and pick up here, probably the best approach right now. Still better than amazon because you can get it within hours and check it out before purchasing!
It was our first visit since they remodeled. I guess it's been a while. Well we needed a printer .It's nice to see a tangible item and be able to puchase immediately. The cashier was pleasant and helpful and everything went smoothly
A good place to get your electronics shopping done but the challenge is the people working there they seems to be less motivated. They have very good collection of television and if you are lucky you can get a very good deal in an open box item. Not much options in electronic appliances if you compare with Lowe's or Home Depot but still manageable.
I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Best Buy's customer support team. Last week, I had an issue with a product I purchased and reached out to their customer support for assistance. I was put on hold for over an hour before finally being connected to a representative who was unhelpful and seemed disinterested in resolving my issue. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was put on hold again for another 30 minutes before finally being told that the manager was unavailable. The representative offered no solution or next steps, leaving me feeling frustrated and helpless. It's incredibly frustrating to spend your hard-earned money at a company and receive such poor customer service in return. I expected more from a company like Best Buy, and I'm disappointed that they fell short in this regard. Overall, my experience with Best Buy's customer support was incredibly frustrating and unhelpful. Not sure why they hired incompetent employees. I would not recommend their services to anyone based on my recent experience. Rather go to Central Computers down the road than here.
