I don't throw out five stars all that easy but this location earned my love and respect. I bought a gopro online and it was an open box model. When I got there a sale had started making the open box only like 20 under brand new. And the open box unit ended up being pretty sub par. The employees did all they could and then brought the manager in. They were all extremely kind however the manager went above and beyond to help me out and get things solved. It took some real time to get it done but he did. Service with a smile and good vibes all around. Plus I got some killer deals and some geek squad protection. Now their aftermarket warranty isn't what it used to be but they still are well worth it. They really go above and beyond to help their customers. Now not all best buys are this best buy so unless this is the location your going to take the review with a grain of salt. But if your in the area this is the one to go to.
This was my main Best But location I've been going to for 15~ years, but recently it's been going a bit downhill in some areas so I've been going to the Skokie location more often. First off the good - Big store with a really good layout so it's easy to find what you need, and employees have always been nice and understanding. The bad - For some reason this location has a "greeter" which always asks you "what brings you in today" which can get annoying if you frequent the store. The major issue for me is that recently when I've been coming in items that show as in stock are nowhere to be found on store shelves. The gaming peripheral section in particular is also really messy and run down. You also don't really get asked if you need any help anymore and there's a clear lack of employees though that's understandable these days. I think this location can get back to 4-5 stars in my book really easily if it just fixed these issues.
Terrible horrible customer service. Because when you return and exchange they will rip you off!! Read every word!! Before you sign anything!! Very disappointed this Best buy is the worst one. They give you a attitude with a smart mouth the way go around because they say you were explained but not true! When you return something they pick up from your home later you get the bill still charges you! They don't know anything where or who took it!! Ask always for the name of person Be sure you get time and date these people hire cheap delivery trucks to save money but honestly they don't know anything they just say it's best buy. I ask for the main manager was not there only a assistance. So beware of this Norridge Best Buy. Do not go here drive a extra 20 miles you will get a better quality of service and professionalism. Stupidity attitude staff this store needs to close or hire new people who know what they doing!
I had more stars prior to this last experience with this Best Buy, I had my remote start installed at the Best Buy at Touhy but the appointment to do a troubleshoot was sooner at this location. I was suppose to do it on Sunday 20 at 10am but someone called me the Wednesday prior to ask me a few questions but basically the guy told me to go to the other Best Buy and they would not help. It basically was not their problem so he cancelled the appointment. I made the appointment to the other Best Buy and Andre was able to fix it right away, So in other words, I'll keep going to the Best Buy at Touhy Ave and talk to Andre the installer if I need anything else installed in any of my vehicles, Or simply purchase everything at the other best buy.
Just had Viper remote car starter installed in my car at this Best Buy location. Mike provided great customer service and communication. I’m very happy with the service. Looking forward to not freezing this winter while my car warms up!
Dealing with your company was the worst customer experience I have ever head since I was born. I’ve had bad experiences before but your company topped it all. I have never seen anything like it. What you did to me is pure evil. You basically just stole my hard earned money, that’s it. Not only my TV was never delivered but they also refused to issue a refund Admitting they they INDEED MADE A MISTAKE and delivered to the wrong location . It’s a total scam company. Never order a delivery to your house.
MUST READ This place is horribly Managed! Very disorganized and rude employees . Before I ordered a T.V. Online I called the store two times before hand to make sure this item was in stock, I was told they have it there at this location . Once I already rented out a U-haul and got to the store location , they told me that the item they had was no longer in stock and there inventory online was not updated. After I already got a confirmation email saying my order was being "worked on" . I asked to speak to the store manager who was no help at all and had an extremely bad attitude the whole time , he also didn't give me any assistance on how I could get my refund. They did not treat me like customer at all and I left with no T.V. Or no refund. I Will never do business with this store again! AVOID at all costs
Most of workers inside don’t want to work, am wondering why. I spent about 20 minutes looking for IPad pencil whenever I ask an employee they say go to that aisle, I went to all aisles and I didn’t find it. Then I went to Target I got what I want easily because of the helpful stuff there. Go to target buddy better than this bad customer service at worstbuy
Rough store to go to. items are not in proper places, poor layout for the holidays and although staffed well, the checkout and returns will take a very long time since there is only one employee for each. Find a different best buy!!
Went to the appliance section looking for a new washer and dryer and no one attended to me. But hey im not complaining, Iwas looking but it would of been nice if someone had helped so i can I figure out the process. Might to go the Melrose Park location and get some answers. Never had a issue there.
