Be careful with this store. I bought a sound bar at Samsung and I had to pick it up the next day at this store, I went in the morning and they told me that they didn't have it available and that they were going to bring it from Decatur. in the afternoon they told me that it was already available to go for it, I went to the store for the product but when I got home I found that they put in an incomplete used product of the same Samsung brand with a remote control of another brand the product was dusty and scratched.
One TERRIBLE experience with a manager can completely turn your opinion of a business. I had an incredibly demeaning and frankly inappropriate interaction with a manager over a recent online order. I had bought an "excellent" condition laptop which per Best Buy "is a like new item with all original accessories or a suitable replacement." as per their own website. The laptop was missing a stylus which originally came packed with the computer. I brought it in and explained the issue to this manager who promptly told me that they wouldn't do anything about it because whoever had graded it Nobody in his store should not have graded it excellent. He told me I already got a deal and that I shouldn't expect to receive all of the accessories at that price even though their website clearly contradicted this. Furthermore he said that he had turned down similar claims for excellent condition electronics based on his own decision on what he thought the condition should be. WHAT?? I left that place shaking and feeling like I had just been accused of theft. Needless to say I will be avoiding the store for the foreseeable future and letting everyone else know what kind of experience they can have there.
Someone here bashed Jeremiah and I cannot fathom the hatred towards that kind young gentlemen. Firstly, the information they gave was incorrect. Apple does not send out refurbished units unless stated otherwise, it’s freshly new units from their stocks. Jeremiah was an absolute angel, he helped us with a repair on our iPhone 13 Pro Max screen replacement and an iPhone 12 Pro unit replacement. Very attentive and informative, I recommend this service to anyone with a functioning brain. He was very cordial and intelligent awesome individual. Thanks as always geek squad!
Customer service at Best Buy apparently does not exist. I was on hold for eight minutes waiting for a human voice. Finally talked to one who was going to take care of my issue. After a lengthy wait I was transfered to someone else who immediately put me on hold and then put me on a call back list. Still waiting!!! Never again.
Staff were very friendly and the store was well organized. Helped me find what I needed and remembered me the next day when I had a question Update: 8/22/23 I had a problem with my FireTV and not only did Geek Squad come out to my house ridiculously quick there the next morning when I called after 7pm to schedule the visit but they identified my problem quickly. I bought a product on my own to try to address the problem and when I went to go back to get it fixed I found out that I was past the exchange date. Thankfully, they assured me it was no problem and got me taken care of right away and made sure I took home the right product this time. I would not hesitate to come back any time.
Our less than one month old TV was incorrectly mounted by a team sent by the local Geek squad. It fell off the Mount and broke. We went into BB to see how to handle it. The manager on duty said they couldn’t help, couldn’t send a team, couldn’t make a call to someone who could, and that we couldn’t use a chair while we made the call ourselves. When we explained we weren’t able to get through on a call which was why we came in he said he couldn’t help with that. The man was condescending, unhelpful, then passive aggressively wished us a “good day”. No concern, no “sorry that happened”, no assistance. And that’s with insurance and $200 of Geek Squad membership! A manager?!?!
Theyve always taken care of me might be a little taxing on ur pocket so if ur not into spending money stay away ... other than that worth every dollar especially with their total tech support its worth the extra couple hundred they fix replace ur items and u get alot of discounts jus ordered a 100 dollar gaming keyboard and paid 63$ after my discounts
Do not buy your cell phones from there nor their insurance. They do not honor their insurance. Your must ship off your phone and if there are no issues to duplicate your complaint is a 200.00 charge. I left, won't be back
Walked around appliances for 10 minutes without anyone approaching me and this guy right here walked by me without even saying hi. Went to the front desk to ask to page someone. Manager showed up, Yuri? And he checked a price for me. He was not friendly at all. The guys that helped me load an appliance were fantastic. Very friendly. They get 10/10. I used to work at bestbuy in college so I get it. This guy in the pic was most likely the inventory guy aka he was stocking stuff and didn't want to be bothered by customers while he was doing what he thought was his job. I'd think that customer service or just manners shouldn't just go out the window if your main duty is not sales. Having fun while being the best is definitely a moto that died within bestbuy when Amazon has taken over a large portion of their market. I still remember them pushing us to take a survey to say how it's not fair that Amazon doesn't have to pay sales tax in Illinois. I also remember how pushy they were and the incentives we used to get to sell credit cards and geek squad warranties.
Tim is the man. He is so spot on the customer service. Dude always assists customers with the products while remaining kind and patient. Deserves a raise. Best buy being at it's best.
