Must visit Frank Lloyd Wright designed synagogue. The staff is very friendly. There is 20$ fee for guided tour. They tell you the history of this place and details about architectural elements. They also have clean restrooms and gift shop.
Funny how you can fail to visit places that you grow up around until you’re old or someone from out of town comes through. After missing out on this place for 30+ years, I finally visited it twice in the past year or so. It has the feel of a theater. The first time I went it was pouring outside so there was a symphony of drips inside and some sort of live plant installation. Pretty cool. Worth a visit.
A wonderful example of Frank Lloyd Wright architecture. The docent was excellent and gave a lot of interesting facts about the construction of the building and the collaboration of Rabbi Cohen and FLW.
All of the details in the synagogue's architectural design reflect the Frank Lloyd Wright design, even doorknobs. This time I went there for Israeli dancingVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
The tour we had of this frank Lloyd Wright original was top notch. Our guide knew lots of details and showed us all aspects of the history of the place. Unfortunately, it's fallen into some disrepair and could use better preservation funding. Went on a tour with some relatives from out of town. Interesting Jewish history, although the story is ultimately knd of sad. Worth a visit like ten bucks or more a ticket
We arrived there 30 mins before its closed on Sunday. They welcomed us friendly and offered a great "VIP" tour just for 4 of us.
Interesting, educational tour with excellent guide. Remaining in the area after sunset allowed me to view the spectacular lit structure which stood majestically against the dark sky. Magnificent!
We really enjoy coming here since they have a food pantry that we get food from and it comes in handy.
Beautiful and unique Frank Lloyd Wright architecture. The visit was nice. The guide wasn't good
Iconic Frank Lloyd Wright building. Had a two hour tour with Robin. Great building that needs to be experienced. Great tour with Robin who was very knowledgeable.
