We are truly impressed with Bethany Christian. Our son started his first year in 5th grade this year. We love everything about the school including academics, extra curricular activities and especially the staff who treat the students exceptionally!
We have had nothing but extreme love and support, even dropping and picking up our kids late. Our son has been going to the school for 2 years now and we sadly could not get his little sister in last year due to the waitlist for this wonderful school, but she got in this coming school year and we are thrilled they will both be attending Bethany for the 2017-2018 school year! Our son has been a handful for a toddler like most are, and the school is always helpful and teaches us as parents what we can do at home to help their growth and behavior. ALL of the teachers are wonderful, loving, and the church is so open and accepting of everyone. Annual pumpkin patch, snow day, farm day, family movie nights, food truck nights, parent date night, this school is nothing short of amazing! We love this school!
Being her first year at Bethany 1st grade, both the teachers and administration really embraced our daughter, which allowed her to feel comfortable and grow. We couldn't have asked for a better teacher, as Mrs. Sandoval was so kind and caring towards our daughter. They offer "alternative spelling lists" and allow students to take more advanced math quizzes weekly so those who need more can be challenged and not grow bored. But most importantly, they build strong character traits such as respect, honesty, integrity, and compassion towards others.
Bethany is a wonderful little school. My children have been thriving here for years. We are grateful for kind teachers, small class sizes and a strong sense of community.
Some of the teachers were good however there were some inappropriate timed testing practices for kindergarteners particularly in math that created a fear and anxiety for my daughter which took her years to overcome Also most of the parents seemed very unwelcoming, gossipy and very clickish and not truly Christian with a few exceptions. We were new to the school and I was struggling severely due to long term health problems during this time my daughter attended here which caused me to have a major operation which had a long recovery and I was gossiped about by some faculty and moms. I was also treated very poorly by the admissions director and she gave away my daughters seat when she knew I was wanting her to save the spot but I could not get her the check on time. Also the after care girl was rude and threatened to suspend my aftercare for being late a four times for pick up when I was working all day and I am a single parent. We are much happier and my daughter is thriving at her current school
My children have attended both preschool and elementary school here over the past 5 years, and it has been wonderful. Faculty and staff are welcoming, loving, and encouraging. I have watched my children flourish both academically and personally through their experiences at BCS.
I had an Awful experience in this place. I regret enrolling my daughter here. Julie - Director of Preschool deliberately picked on my child. She kept referring to my daughter as a "Problem" and the only problem my daughter had was Julie. My daughter is 2 years Old and have a delay in speech. This was such an issue with this lady - I think she expected my daughter to have full sentences as such an early stage. I was very transparent with the information I provided about my child such as the fact that she came from having a babysitter @ home and then I put her in daycare to which she only attended 3 weeks because then I received a call from Bethany about the space availability. I took my child from KinderCare and put her here because this place is closer to my job. And then in a meeting with Julie, she informed me that she was under the understanding that my daughter was enrolled in Bethany because she was asked not to return to her previous school which is a FALSE STATEMENT!!! and if my husband and I did not give this information because it was not true then, who did she hear this from? By the way - "I heard" is not a very Godly way to handle things. I feel things would have been handled different with my child if we were a big donors from the church , because you see it in the Parking lot where there is reserved parking for those big shots. Anyways - how can she frame and label my daughter as a "problem" without having a full scope of the situation? The so called "Problem" is the my daughter was getting used to a transition from at home care to a pre-school. This Lady is a hypocrite!
This place is amazing! They are loving, kind, caring, patient and nurturing. We are first time parents trying are hardest be the best role models that we can be. Our son started going here when he was 2. He's 3 1/2 now. If your reading this you've likely felt frustrated at times and wished your child came with instructions. I cant say enough wonderful things about the teachers here. They have helped us be better parents. I can remember back when he started he was immediately better behaved. Mrs. Brasington had him counting to 10 in 3 languages by the time he was 2 1/2 and he knew his abc's in no time. This year he has Mrs Morris and she's a saint. Im amazed at how she's able to bond and connect with that many children on a personal loving level. I cant say enough about her patients. I don't know how she does it. If your looking for an exceptional Godly school you should 100% try and get your child in here.
Don't bringet your child here it you don't want to burn in hell. The director Audrey told me to go burn in hell with my son which I had in the 2yr old class because I was 3minites late. Then she tells me to pay her right then and therected the $20 late fee. I took my son to this school because I heard good things but this lady Audrey is from hell. I do not recommend you bring your child here. Mind you I was not getting any government assistance nor assistance with my son's childcare expenses. I paid $170 a week and had to bring my son his own lunch and snack. .DO NOT ENROLL YOUR CHILD HERE
The staff is nice but only the teachers are qualified. Everyone else is basically a babysitter. The prices are insane for what you get. The place is small. The director is taking things in the wrong direction.
