Bethel Branch Library

Super nice, friendly staff.

Very clean, kind people. For such a small branch there's lots to choose from. Great kid area as well.

The staff are nice and helpful. However, I take issue with the children's selection. Nearly every time we go, a bulk of the books on display for children promote radical gender ideology.

We were excited to go and sign up for a library card, but when we arrived the person behind the counter said she wouldn't help us because they were getting close to closing time. She handed us some papers and told us to come back tomorrow. There was still plenty of time to fill out the simple application. In my opinion, open is still open and she simply didn't want to help us. The library itself looks clean and organized. I'm hopeful when we are finally able to get our library card we'll enjoy our future experiences more than our first impression.

**5-stars for cleanliness, quietness, and comfort.** Obviously selection at this smaller branch of the Eugene public library system will be limited in comparison to its multi-story counterpart downtown. However, unlike that location, this Bethel branch does not double for a hostel/bus stop for the entire cities population of runaways and vagrants. The staff at this library are friendly, but not intrusive waiting to assist when approached. A variety of tables and chairs are available most times of the day without wait. A separate space for teens is also available. Always a joy to work in this pleasant space and grateful for it.

For a small local branch library, the Bethel branch is pretty sweet. Although hours are limited, the staff are helpful, and you can order books from the system to be delivered to Bethel for pickup. I've attended several activities and speakers for adults. My only complaint is that the large print book area is so small--not the greatest for browsing.

Great and wonderful library staff. Holds pick up was not as much of a hassle as I thought it would be. And we got some Summer Reading books! I love the Eugene Public Library.

Very cute little library. It looks out of place in a big-lots parking lot but looks fantastic as it was a bank converted into a library. When my son ripped the cover off one of their books they didn't even charge me.
