I myself am a student at Betty H. Fairfax High school. It pains me to read such bad comments about my school, my home. Betty Fairfax has been a life changer for me. It has pushed me beyond my academic capability, evolving me into a well-managed student. Without the rigor and greatness of some of Fairfax's teachers, I would not appreciate the satisfaction of hard work despite the stress that comes along with it. However, the one thing that has drastically impacted me the most is the faculty. From the principal, counselors, cafeteria staff, and teachers, there is such a great atmosphere that has made me feel loved and accepted. These people are not just administrators, but heroes. In all honesty, Betty Fairfax has sculpted me into a civil character. I have learned so much beyond the classroom such as acceptance, time management, leadership, and spirit. The experience of this school is how one takes it. Either one can embrace the community by finding a loving home within the class and extensive clubs to choose from, or shy away. From the heart of a student: Betty H. Fairfax High School is a stupendous place. I will never regret the four years that I will spend at this community.
This high school is great, I always wanted to go here and I now have a oppertunity but there is just one problem I don't like about this school is that security gets butt hurt if you have your headphones out at lunch and they'll write you up for it.
Literally the only school I know who ALLOWS BULLYING and kicks out the ones who are be bullied... I actually hope these teachers do a walk out! P.s. How do Betty Fairfax have a whole security office but they ALL work for the bullies. ‍
I worked at this school and i liked it kids are kids teachers have alot of patients with the kids who talk back question everything and provoke them but they handle it professionally the security is really great they are always alert and making sure kids are not messing around in the hallway and be were they supposed to be the food is okay enjoyed working there.
This High School does not attend the students cries for bullying, instead they choose to ignore these cries for help, and ignore the situations happening right infront of them, as these students are becoming victims of such cruel actions, the students causing these problems are not just the ones that take action but the ones verbally causing them too in the shadows who have been brought to the light but yet arent punished as they are the source of the problems, i believe that they should attend more to not just the victims of these actions but to the ones that are verbally and physically taking action in them as well before something terrible happens.
It's nice and the teacher's are helpful but it's just fights every day
Staff never has returned any if my calls concerns I've had regarding my child.
