Big Al's is a great place to be if you love live music and delicious food. I came here on February 25th with a bunch of friends for my birthday celebration. Steve McQueen was playing. We love his band! It was an awesome show and we couldn't help to dance just a little even though it was in our seats.
Great place to eat. While you wait for your food, play the VLTs. Music leaves something to be desired. I don't like to say that, but singer and band were both out of tune. Hard to enjoy. Other than that, I loved this place. Brought me back to my younger days in Manitoba The staff here are great !!
Incredible place for live music. The food was great as well. I recommend the "Al's" burger or pizza. It was very busy which could account for the service, and let's be honest with the live music and dancing you can wait for that next beer!! Will definitely be back!! Parking: Lots of parking.

Update: Came in for a late dinner. Had the beef dip. Loved that it was a classic beef dip. Everyone seems to want to fancy up the beef dip which just ruins it IMO. It was good. The waitress is super friendly and always has a smile on her face. Typically go on Tuesday nights after work and the service is great. Had their wings and pizza toast thingie and what I've had has been good. Place hasn't changed in like 15 years
My girlfriend and I have just finished our time here at Big Als. I normally love it the food and service here but today not so much. Our server Nicole is not personable at all, no smile, no hi how are you nothing. You cant even hear what she's saying as she talks way to quiet. She also asked when I went to pay how much change I wanted, a server should never ask that question. The sauce that comes with the calamari is just dill dressing, quite disappointing. My girlfriends ceaser salad had no flavor at all, next to no dressing. Thank God for salt and pepper. Just not very good overall today.
Haven't been in Als in almost 20 years its still a great bar and grill food was fantastic got the 12oz steak sandwich and it was fantastic perfectly cooked and the service was awesome. Als is a great place to go for beers and food.Food: 5/5
Went there for a Spanish rock concert and had an excellent time. Our server was the best can't remember her name!Food: 5/5
Ok so I'm being asked what i ate here and if I ate anything it would have been a barley sandwich with a side of beer. I don't think many people know what a great place this is for live music. We stopped in to check out a well known band and there was actually places to sit. The staff really pays attention to detail and it was a very good time. Just to let you know if it's to loud you are too old. Give it a shot if you are interested in live music there's a party inside. Cheers.
Good place to eat, Christine was a great server and friendly. Tuesday wing special hit the spot. Will come back when in the area.
