Big "B" Barbecue has been a local legend in the Evansville, IN area since the1940's. Big "B" is famous for producing its Pit-Cooked BBQ.
The recipe for our famous Big "B" Pit-Cooked Barbecue was developed back in the early 1940's by combing fresh pork and beef with special ingredients.
In 1962 John Bonenberger founded Big "B" Barbecue to continue the legacy of Floyd Baugh in Chandler, IN. In 1971, the restaurant was closed and production was moved to Evansville next to its sister company Farm Boy Meats. Since then, Big "B" has grown its line of products to include a variety of BBQ Sauces, salsa and steak sauces.
