The light show on the bridge is very cool and worth the time! You could set up a blanket and watch in the grass or sit on the cement steps. You could also stand on the walkable track above the grassy area! Great photo opportunity! The lights went on right at sunset.
Absolutely Beautiful walking bridge. The lighting changes colors beautifully, and at points on the bridge, classical music plays and sets a gorgeous mood. Spectacular.
Loving Louisville back to Life!! Harvest Call 2023
We crossed the bridge from Jeffersonville to this park and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The sunset views from the bridge were simply breathtaking. Once at the park, there was a stage with live music and concerts and also food trucks. Very nice place to relax and enjoy music on the last Wednesday of every month. And it’s free! Highly recommended!!
It is very good place for family time. There are play ground for kids. This is big place if you like walk by river and nature. There is place where you can sit and enjoy the view of four bridges. There is free parking lot. You also bring you own mat to sit on the lawn. Overall I would recommend this for family outing.
Deducted 3 stars because the police gathering 3 tow trucks into a parking lot, 30 minutes after the closing of PRIDE. like i get it on a regular day, but it was after a festival. They waited ONLY 30 minutes to start towing. Yeah, that mother with 3 kids, who wouldn't stop crying, trying to leave and finds her car towed. Disgusting. Other than that, its by the river. Its nice.
I come down here once a week at least. I'll eat lunch or have dinner/picnic. Sometimes, I'll walk my dog. My son likes to ride bikes from my house on Baxter Ave, here, to the flood wall and back home. We have been doing that trip several years now. They sometimes have concerts down here that have a good turnout. Covid has stopped all that. I'll be glad when that's over.
Awesome place to sit and take in the views. Hopefully Louisville can keep the park clean and safe
Good for a nice walk!
