We stumbled on this establishment a number of years ago while visiting Colorado. We loved it so much, that now, we return every precious time we are in the area. It is situated in a plaza, so we had reservations walking in that it was going to be too "chainy". There was a bit of a wait on the weekend, which was a mild inconvenience, but also a good omen that we were dining "where the locals dine". Indeed, our experience was terrific. The novelty-flavored coffee beverages are a great way to start. Their standard breakfast fare e.g., eggs, waffles, pancakes are delicious, and the prices are not unreasonable. The service has been great every time we've been there, and the atmosphere is delightful. Just look up, and you'll see the peaceful blue clouds...We can't wait to return - recommend.
Best sweet potato and pecan griddle cakes ever!!!! Very nice lean mean protein egg white omelette!!! I also tried the Oregon Chai shake...wha?!?!?!?!? Sooo good...grabbed a snickerdoodle latte for housemate so can't comment yet but if brekkie is ANY indicator...I'm sure it will be amazing. They offer milk alternatives, egg whites, not sure about vegan options but didn't peruse menu a lot..short on time. For what I ordered to go...no complaints here. Parking: They are in Denver West shopping center so no shortage on parking Kid-friendliness: I saw kids enjoying their meals with their parents. Barista is amazing and accommodates personal requests as well!!!
This is our second time eating in this restaurant in the past eight months. The food is outstanding, as is the service. We don’t live very close to here, but we were in the neighborhood, and had breakfast there again. Our server, Luke was outstanding. They were very busy, yet he was able to handle all of his tables and ensure that we were well taken care of. He had a very pleasant attitude about his work, and went about it very well. I had the smothered burrito with ham, my son had the blue corn piñon nut pancakes. Both were outstanding.
Wonderful service and fantastic brunch options. We went twice during our stay since conveniently located near our hotel. Delicious omelets, French toast, smoothies, milkshakes, and coffee. Even have almond milk. The inside decor is lovely, with painted ceiling and lots of art. The servers were so friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!
This place had no wait at 8:30 am on a Saturday!!! We were happily greeted at the door and sat at a very small table for two. Our service was excellent!! We order coffee, Oregon honey Chai highly reccomend. For breakfast we ordered the burrito brekafast bowl add sauagase and a Great American Brekfast with Sourdough and fruit. Accommodating to vegetarian but no plant based meats available. The food wasnt the best breakfast ive ever had more on the over priced side. The homefries are weird slices of potatoes. HUGE variety on the menu and a juice bar plus smoothies. Kid and family friendly. Really cool atmosphere with the ceiling painted as a beautiful blue sky covered in white Fluffy clouds! Parking: Free parking lot
Delicious and light, exactly what we were looking for! Stopped in after a short walk from our hotel and had a great meal! The place is clean especially the bathrooms and surprisingly packed for a random Thursday afternoon. They seem to focus mostly on breakfast, but offer many options. I thought the pitcher of water on the table to start was a nice touch! I got the breakfast tacos with Chorizo and they were fantastic! I'm not going to lie though they were a bit messy, however it was worth every bite and I wouldn't have changed it. It came with a cool, spicy tomateo Verde salsa which really made the dish. I also added what appeared to be the house made habonero sauce to the tacos you know I like spicy. Also had the spinach, pesto and grilled chicken flat bread. It was refreshing and light with some really good flavors. Not a very expensive spot at all. Overall, I give Blue Sky Cafe and Juice Bar a 4.4 out of 5, highly recommended!
Decided to try this place for breakfast. It was busy good sign seated, 20 min before anyone even came to the table it wasn’t that busy once ordered the food came out quickly. My problem with a $50.00 breakfast for 2, I was served potato chips masquerading as home fry’s. I’ve never had potato chips for breakfast. My cappuccino was barely warm. Just not a good experience. Restaurant was very loud, food and coffee warm at best, potato chips on a breakfast plate, let’s just not go there, too expensive for what you are receiving. Sadly it’s a no go for me
TL;DR? If the owners or management see this, please ensure the English? waitress with the brown hair and glasses that worked today 04/13 gets the money I have sent. She earned it. The pricing is genuinely not good. A $1 difference for going from 3 $15 pancakes to 2 $14 is just bad. But my waitress does not deserve to be punished for that. Also, maybe consider giving that cashier some extra attention. Maybe some training. A good sit-down. I never expect/want to be treated like anything special, but if you're going to just be rude to me when I have nothing to do with your attitude, then I'll absolutely throw it right back. Below is my experience: I came in today 04/13 for breakfast around 1030am. Waitress was very friendly, and after speaking with her recommended the sweet potato pancakes, which were delicious. I got a short stack of two instead of a full stack of three. All of this was fine. No problem just yet. What was my first problem was the price. $15 for 3 pancakes is steep, but they were really good. However: $14 for 2 pancakes doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I would have appreciated the waitress letting me know it was only a dollar cheaper for two pancakes. They had a lot of other good looking options for $14 I would have chosen. I wasn't thrilled, and when I went to the cashier, I asked for clarification. Is it really only a dollar less? Why wouldn't the waitress tell me? How does that make sense? The cashier Brunette, Caucasian, maybe 5'7"? was rude from the get-go. I don't know if she was having a bad day, but when I asked about the price, she made it VERY clear she did not want to speak to me. Answers were short. She was extremely condescending. Big sighs. The works. I don't need anyone to sit there and pretend they're super ecstatic to see me. I'm there to eat, pay, and leave. If she were just stoic and answered my questions plainly, fine. I can live with that. But man. Just rude. And I did not take it well. So, I tipped 10%. This cashier just really made my whole experience unpleasant. She was bad-mouthing me to a co-worker before the door had even shut behind me. That said, it was not my waitress' fault I was dealing with such a sour person. I tipped 10%, but that just isn't right. So, I've posted a letter I sent not an hour after my visit. That is a more appropriate tip for my $20 bill. I hope the waitress gets it, I did not catch her name. If the owners or management see this, please ensure the shorter English? waitress with the brown hair and glasses that worked today 04/13 gets the money I have sent. She earned it. The pricing is genuinely not good. I should have been told the price difference. But she does not deserve to be punished for that. And I strongly suggest speaking to that cashier from today. She definitely seems to need some attention.
Wow! What an awesome breakfast experience! The food at the Blue Sky was awesome! Great variety of selections, and they also include a juice bar! The Restaurant Manager Jeery was out on the floor, interacting with both his staff and guests! This Restaurant is very busy for great reasons! It was not only delicious food, and fantastic service, but beautiful inside and out, they take great pride in keeping a clean establishment, including clean and well maintained bathrooms with hot water. Features: Excellent health standards.
Great breakfast place to check out while getting our Nissan fixed @ Empire Nissan. Luke our server was great! Good options for those among us who prefer a not so meaty brekkie. Two thumbs up!Food: 5/5
