I loved this little cafe. The food is absolutely fantastic. I enjoyed the ham and cheese omelette with hash browns. It was awesome because I asked for crispy hash browns and got crispy hash browns, too often that doesn't happen when I eat out. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The decor is vintage with records on the wall and the focus being on music from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. This is a simple cafe that has a lot of heart and personality. Also, I saw the deep fried cheesecake walk passed me to a near by table and I've been drooling over the sight of it.
This place was a true gem for your tastebuds. With the countless made in house menu items you are truly in for a treat. We decided to stop by this place after another review said it was like eating at someone's house. They did not lie. I instantly felt taken back in time with the music and decor. We were greeted by a lovely server that immediately took our drink order. With so many delicious sounding menu items we had a hard time deciding. Our server was helpful in the decision making. We were able to try a good selection of the house made items all of which made our tastebuds and hearts feel like a kid again. I highly recommend this place. The housemade jams, chai, syrup, & bacon all left us full and satisfied. The coffee is a lighter roast but did not taste burnt at all.

I ordered a veggie omelette with there delicious homemade bread and jam! Yes! You heard it folks! One more time for those in the back! HOMEMADE BREAD AND JAM! It was just what I needed. They have daily lunch specials pulse weekend breakfast specials. It’s great! You should go. I’ll be back for swizzle.
This is a rare family run breakfast and lunch cafe. This is peach french toast which was delicious. Staff are friendly and warm. They conscientiously follow guidelines for safety and social distancing.
I have been coming here for four years and the quality and service has been consistently top tier. The management and staff genuinely care about happy guests and love what they do. The food is delicious and they do whatever they can to help guests feel at home. I’m originally from the Midwest where diners like this are a dime a dozen, and when I moved to Denver I was disappointed that they’re few and far between, so I was very happy to find a diner that felt as authentic as Fran’s.
Great food & prices with an old diner feel & friendly staff. Fran's Cafe will definitely be on my weekly list!
Great, small, old time cafe. Great food and service! Great memorabilia from the 50's,60's, and 70's. Just found out today, that they will close permanently in 3-4 months. Please go in and check them out, while you still can. I think you will enjoy it!
Like family from the first visit. The staff is warm and welcoming and the food is fantastic. I would go back here in a heartbeat and I definitely will be back! The fried malted French toast is amazing! You won't be disappointed if you're looking for a home-town diner feel with good food.
This is one of the best restaurants in town! What makes it so great is a homey feel, very friendly staff, fast service, and great prices. It's hard to find a place this good for such a low price. I highly recommend coming here for a bite to eat if you're in the area and need a friendly, small business, and good-priced place to enjoy.
