Big Spring RV Camp provides RV &Tent camping, tube trips and cabin rental. Big Spring RV Camp is located on the banks of the spring fed, crystal clear Current River less than 1/2 mile down stream from the bridge at Van Buren, Missouri.
Our facilities are located in the heart of Missouri's Scenic Ozarks. With the recent improvements to surrounding highways, we are only a short driving distance from St. Louis, Springfield, and Sikeston.
We have many shaded RV sites located on the banks of the Beautiful Current River. Each site is at least 40 feet wide with most large enough to accommodate even the longest big rig. Facilities include water, sewer, electric (20, 30, 50 AMP), picnic table, WIFI and cable TV. Although, right on the river, our facilities are not subject to flash flooding. In addition, we also have a large shaded tent camping area. Big Spring RV Camp is known for their sparkling clean restrooms and showers, convenience store and laundry room facility, arcade room, air-conditioned pavilion to hang out with family and friends as well as new and improved swimming beaches. We are also proud to announce the opening of our upper deck overlooking the beautiful Current River. Eat a meal, play a card game or just enjoy some R&R time and watch the water go by.
Big Spring RV Camp has a cabin to rent by the day, or weekly. The cabin is completely furnished including a covered front porch, BBQ grills, and cable T.V., full kitchen, towels and bedding. Our cabin sleeps more than 8+ people and provides you with everything you need to make your stay with us most enjoyable! Be sure to book early! The price per night is ONLY $200 for up to 8 people; each additional person is $20 a night!
Our campground has a variety of tubing and float trips available. Just sit back, relax and enjoy your float on the beautiful Current River.
We welcome large groups. However, due to our family oriented focus, we are unable to accommodate loud groups.
