"Small town, MIddle America is where the legend of Big Whiskey’s began. Throughout those 30 years this little corner tavern acquired quite a few regulars, but one of those regulars became a legend. My grandfather said this man wasn’t the average customer. He only came in a couple times a week and it was always between the hours of 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. He had done it for so many years it became tradition. The same thing each time...he’d come in, have a seat and proceed with his order. He would always tell the bartender, “I’m only going to have one, so make it a big one.” Over the years of him coming in to my grandfather’s place and performing his ritual, he eventually became known as “Big Whiskey.”"

I had high hopes for this place. The fried pickle and jalapeño appetizer was great. Service was not very fast but that’s understandable since it was pretty busy. They advertised in the ribeye steak description that they are not responsible for well done steaks, so I was like cool. They understand how to cook a steak. I ordered a steak medium and received a very well done steak. Nicely seasoned so it’s a shame they had to overcook it. The mashed potatoes were really good.
Came here to get a bite to eat before a going to see a show. Was greeted and seated right away. Drinks came out quick but my wings and fries was another story. I believe the server forgot to put my order in because people who came in after me got their food before I did. She gave me my check before I got my food. She apologized and that's when I think she put my order in. My food was on the greasy side. Didn't care for it too much.
Wine glass had someone else’s lipstick on it. Salmon and broccoli was excellent. The rice tasted like it came out of a box but was dry. Service was fine. Our waitress was not one of the many staff members lounging in the corner. We were taken aback by this.
Ordered the BW Famous Chicken Sandwich and was not disappointed! Chicken was flavorful and well-cooked. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a place to eat.
Seems like a great place to eat and watch sports. There were games on every TV which I loved. The food was pretty good and the atmosphere was nice good music. We ordered blackened chicken salad, southwest egg rolls, and veggie burger and fries - all were good. Would definitely try again. Good lunch spot.Food: 4/5
Fast and friendly service, nice atmosphere, and what matters most, an attentive and friendly server! Better than guy fieris place for sure!
Bathroom was horrible service from Alyssa was horrible the food was ok would not recommend our last night in town so disappointing
Stopped in for lunch before going to a play today. Walking in the floor was filthy and so greasy you slipped around like a skating rink. The manager had to take our drink order because our server was not around, once the server did come by she took our order, brought our food and got one refill of drinks, and half were wrong. There was about half occupancy so it wasn’t because they were busy. The bathroom, I have seen cleaner bathrooms in a college dive bar on a Friday night. Will not be returning.
Food is decently good but over priced for what you get. Service was above average, friendly but let's you alone. Fairly decent selection of local brews on tap.Food: 3/5
Not expensive but food not so great either. Buffalo chicken pasta in cream sauce just didn't make any sense, and was unfortunately bland. Blackened salmon had too many spices...cook should use iron cast skillet so can rely less on spices that ended up being caked on and masked salmon taste. Pizza ok...can't complain...was $10. Plus kids like it.
