Hi my experience as an employee I have seen quality meats and a well operated Warehouse, also the company listen to their workers as keeping a clean and self work place.
This place needs to spend sum money and get this area updated and upgraded so that 53ft trailers have a safe place to park and drive into. I thought new jersey was tight but this place makes them look huge.
GPS wrong way! Do not turn on Dyke ave!!!! Keep straight. Left Columbus ave and left central ave. Small place 2 docks, overnight possible for 1-2 semi
Tried the organic chicken sausage breakfast and every bite had bone in it. Absolutely disgusting. Never again!
Horrible company to work for . I was hired as a supervisor w/salary pay Was told my hours would be 6-3 some days later depending on building needs I was also told Mon-Fri But!!! My 1st week I worked 5 -16hr days and was told midweek we also had to work Saturday cleaning and painting , “doing building maintenance “ The poor production workers are relentlessly over worked while being screamed at by their superiors Just when it’s time to go home they’re told they need to stay a couple more hours They need to be humbled It’s disgusting how they treat people It’s a awful company to work for
Very terrible employer. They put thier production needs ahead of the welfare of thier own employees. For example, you are captive to them the moment you show up, and they work you upwards of 10 hours per day if not more. With your first break around mid morning and your last break around lunch time, this could mean upwards of 6 hours on your feet without a break. Additionally, when I left they refused to pay me 16 hours of accrued vacation time. This an illegal practice. Shame on you! They also charged insurance to my last week of pay which took my already meager last weeks pay to near nothing. I'm certain they wouldn't have charged if I had not had enough money to cover thats weeks insurance premiums. Avoid at all costs, folks are straight predatory. Regards. G
The staff is very nice. I get loaded pretty quickly when I pick up here. If you're a truck driver your GPS will take you the wrong way. The street you want to use is bridge street. Once you turn left onto bridge street your going to go over some railroad tracks. Keep driving straight until you see a bridge. Once you see the bridge make a left turn at the bridge. Once you make the left turn you will go past a fire station. Keep straight all the way down until you come to the end of the road. You will be driving through a residential street but it's enough room to manage. You will see signs to guide you in. Once you get there docking isn't bad at all. The dock is completely isolated and its a nice size area so you don't have to much to worry about.
My review isn't of the facility/location in Cohoes, NY but of the great customer service and product of Bilinski's which I have been eating for several years. I recently purchased some sausages that spoiled prematurely. I wrote to the company and within 1 hour had personal responses from their account management team as well as the CEO. They were genuinely interested in understanding the issue, gathering information for further investigation, and offered to provide manufacturer's coupons as remedy for my wasted money. It is a great product with equally great customer service.
As a former employee of this company I would just like to say from its deplorable conditions, temperatures beyond physical compensation. Mismanagement, too many Indians and not enough chiefs. Do not work for them. How they've been in business for over 50 years is beyond me.
It’s pretty damn tight but capable running a 53 to this customer. Cars parked all on the sides of the street and corners too. You gota be extra, extra carful of your turns coming in and out of there.
