I've never done this but I give them a Half star!!! They don't know anything about the brand names they carry in respiratory equipment and I was immediately thrown on hold. When the lady picked up the phone and I asked here a question and the first thing out of her mouth was that I needed a doctor's prescription for the item in question like that was their main priority! NOT THE PATIENT! They want their money! The lady proceeded to check on a name brand of equipment for me. She came back to the phone told me and after Ithanked her for her time she just said , " Take care", and hung up the phone. She gave me the impression that they don't care about patients! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL!!! Poor, Poor, Poor Service!!! Also, be aware St. Peters Health Partners acquired this company.
I get o2 and supplies. Never a problem. Always kind, helpful and friendly. Great service, very pleased with them. Highly recommend them.
Great service and compassion from Kayleigh. I ordered a [not inepxensive!] lift chair, paid the deposit, and scheduled its delivery to the home of my terminally ill friend. My friend then declined and the chair wasn't going to be a viable option. When I called Kayleigh, she was very sympathetic, understanding, and accommodating -- and she allowed me to cancel the order, despite the chair having already been received at the store. This compassion & goodwill are at the core of great customer service. Thank you, Kayleigh!!
I can’t say enough good things about NE Home Medical. They never fail me or my patients. Just last week I called for some equipment and it was delivered immediately. From the team members who answer the phones to the skilled delivery staff and everyone in between, they are kind, capable and efficient.
Kevin was absolutely Amazing! Compassionate, kind and most of all really genuine, we can't thank him enough for his kind words it really made light of so much and really tug on our hearts. Thank you Kevin!
If I could give them zero stars, I would. My ex husband passed away on a Friday and I arranged for Northeast Medical to come the following Tuesday to pick up his hospice equipment. On Saturday I get a phone call saying that they were in route to pick up the equipment but that their truck had broken down. I explained that I do not live there as it is my ex's home and told them that we had an appointment for Tuesday. Monday I received a phone call saying that they were on their way over. I again explained that the appointment was set for Tuesday and that I was not at the residence as I was planning his funeral. Waited all day on Tuesday and they never showed up. I called and booked an appointment for Wednesday and was given a window for pick up between 12-5:30 p.m. I waited all day at my ex's house for them to come and no one showed up! I called at 5:00 to see if someone was in route and the office was closed. Woke up this morning and called first thing to have the equipment removed and was told by Robin that they were at the house yesterday at 4:45 to pick up. Not true! I was there until 5:15 and no one showed up. When asked why they didn't call, I was told that they did however, they called my ex's phone which has been turned off because he is deceased! I told them that the phone number on the account was updated to call me as I was the only person who still had access to the home and I was told that the customer service rep transposed 2 numbers and called someone else who said that they were waiting at home for someone to pick up. I dialed the number that they supposedly had on file and the number is not in service. They are liars. Such a horrible company. I have now wasted 2 days waiting for them to come to pick up equipment. All while I'm taking care of a young child who is grieving the loss of his father.
They just refunded me $78.75 for a shower chair that didnt fit in my tub. Now they made an ACH withdrawal from my checking fir $78.75. They are very difficult to reach so I don't anticipate this is going to be easy trying to recoup that money. Often their phone rings over to St. Peters Hospital or they just dont answer the phone. I remember what it was like trying to return the shower chair.ugh.
if we could give 0 stars we would. this company is simply the worst. dealing with the billing dept is a nightmare; the only person who had a clue and any decent customer service skills left because the job was so terrible. no one can ever answer a question intelligently or explain a bill coherently. service for delivery of oxygen is even worse. each time we order the delivery is wrong, incomplete or never arrives. my husband ordered a resupply of his portable oxygen tanks on friday. he was assured he would receive a delivery on monday. no delivery happened. he called this morning and was promised that his delivery was on it's way but the service person couldn't predict what time. it's now after 5pm, the office is closed, theres no one available to speak with and he still hasn't received his tanks which means that he can't leave the house for a planned activity. we are actively searching for a company that our insurance plan will cover so that we can stop doing business with this horrible, awful company.
I can not believe that I waited 6 months back and forth with this company to get a new wheelchar having my Dr. office fax this and fax that, only to learn that this company does not take my insurance. I threw away 6 months of time and effort for them to say oh, sorry, we do not take Fidelis Care. Nice customer service, but really uneducated staff! Stay away from here.
Company’s response to insurance company’s non coverage error is to remove life sustaining equipment from home. Supervisor makes call to advise equipment will be removed, and unwilling to assist or wait to clear up coverage or payment arrangement for elderly or poor patients. Removal of oxygen is first and only response! Don’t let your loved one rely on this company!
