Birdies Wings And More

This was my first time trying Birdie and I got the highest listed heat on the small sandwich. Apparently there's even a higher heat level I'll try next time But the cashier was super friendly and helped me decide based on my hunger level what to get. So I went with the hell hot and the mac and cheese as my side. Both did not disappoint although I would say I'm not a huge fan of the bread, but that's the only negative. They have good options and I definitely plan to be back.

Owned, and operated by award winning chef, Joshua Harmon, and his wonderful wife Jessica, you’ll definitely taste the love, and dedication on this twist of Southern Asian cuisine; which reflects the chef’s New York, and California upbringing, and his family’s southern roots. Although, The Exchange Hall is aesthetically a food court, the moment your food hits the table, you’ll only be missing china, and linen. I enjoyed several items off the menu, starting with their delicious cherry slushee. The chicken sandwich, with homemade pickles, topped with kimchi & The Boa Closed On Sunday, are the kind of yum your eyes close after every bite, but it doesn’t end there. The warm potato salad is such a savory surprise, you’ll find yourself questioning your own taste buds. If you’re okay, with carbs, and dairy; the Mac, and cheese, as well as, Granny’s macaroni salad, are delicious options too. The prices are slightly higher than fast food, but this is definitely elevated. Parking Downtown can be a challenge, so consider garages, and lots! This was my first time coming here and I enjoyed it immensely. It's like Legacy Hall in Plano and offers several restaurants and types of food. I tried Birdie which offered chicken sandwiches, homemade pickles and sauces, etc. I saw that they offer Nashville Hot flavors so I had to try it. The food quality was amazing and the lady ringing us up was extremely nice. The drinks on tap were somehow amazing as well. Soda water mixed with the Huckleberry was awesome and I had to have to glasses full of it.

Did not even try the food, but the service was enough to give it a one star. Guy at the counter just pretty much said the few things they had available at 4 pm on a Sunday when trying to order and was short and rude in his answering. Wouldn't recommend solely on service.Service: 1/5

The Bao Katsu sandwich was divine. A bit smaller than expected, but so delicious. I indugled in the mac n cheese, which was creamy cheesy goodness in a cup. The top was broiled perfectly.

A must try. Definitely hits the spot when you want something spicy. Muy calente. Pero muy bueno!!!! I completely recommend.Food: 5/5

On a my hunt for the best chicken sandwich in Dallas, many people I have come across have send me recommendations for this place. This place is new and just opened inside exchange hall. looking over the menu I decided to settle for their basic chicken sandwich, sando and a side of fries. The chicken was breaded decently well but there was almost no actual chicken underneath the breading. The seasoning that was tossed on top the chicken was close to, eating a spoonful of paprika, it was almost all powder. It was rather difficult to eat and rather small in size. The hype behind this place was rather great but I do not think I will be giving this place another go, there are just so many better places in Dallas that are better priced, seasoned and portioned.

Got the Nashville Hot OG chicken sandwich late on Saturday right before they sold out. Fantastic! You’re doing yourself a disservice by not eating here. Go get it! And the owners were so nice!

Their sandwich was delicious! I got it extra spicy and it hit the spot.

Seriously my favorite chicken in Dallas, but also one of the best hidden gems in Downtown. The Katsu Sando changes the chicken sandwich game. And the Mac Salad is so good, you’ll want 2.
