Bisou Nail Bar

My wife and I were early to an event the other day so we decided to get pampered a little bit. We lucked out and managed to get an appointment at Bisou Nail Bar. Let me just say the staff is very friendly and personable. It was a great experience overall for my wife and I. The place has a very relaxing atmosphere. We loved that it was super clean. My wife was extremely excited about her nails and couldn’t stop talking to her friends about it. I strongly recommend this place!

I have been a loyal customer to Bisou for over three years. I never request someone specific, because all of the nail technicians are usually great. I went today and ran 15 minutes past my appointment time entirely my fault, and they accommodated which I was grateful for. However, they changed my pedicure service and shortened my appointment, skipping leg massage, etc. I understand that being late for an appointment has consequences for a small business, but it was a week day at lunch time and it was not very busy. With that said, it felt rushed, not personalized, and definitely not relaxing. They seemed annoyed that I was running late even though it's my first time in three years. Life happens, the least you could all do is honor a service for a paying customer who has referred numerous people to you. Lastly, the color I chose needed several coats, I asked for a final coat the nail tech told me no, so now it's still sheer and it's probably one of the worst manicures I have received there. She did not take time on the backs of my feet either. I will think twice before coming back.

They were on time and organized, but I didn’t love the result of my nails. The shape is fine but the coats look chunky and she coated only twice instead of three. Will not go back

The technician ripped my dip nails off instead of soaking them and then gave the worst looking manicure I’ve ever paid for

I would like to preface this by saying that my family and I have been loyal customers of Bisou for over 5 years. My sister, mom, and I have enjoyed countless manicures and pedicures here and have brought along many of our friends in support of Bisou as fellow Winchester residents. In all 5 years, I can say that I have never missed an appointment or late cancelled and always treat my nail technician Lylian with respect and tip for her service. Yesterday, I made the mistake of mis-marking my appointment time and realized my mistake 20 minutes past my scheduled time. I called the salon to apologize, explained my mistake, and was sure to still tip my nail technician for the missed appointment. Despite my attempt to reschedule for another time/technician they had available for the week, I was still charged the full $55 service fee for my missed appointment. I certainly understand that late cancellations have an affect on many small businesses, however, as a dedicated customer for over 5 years, I expected to be met with a similar sense of customer service and understanding. I asked to speak with a manager to explain my disappointment before resorting to writing a review, but never received a call back despite my three attempts of contacting her. I'm disappointed in Bisou's lack of customer service and recognition of loyal clients. Certainly a bummer that we will have to find a new salon that recognizes and appreciates our business.Services: Nail polish changes

This is hands down one of the best places I’ve found in the greater Boston Area. I’m writing this review to defend this incredible business that I love endlessly. I find it disgusting when a person will write false, slanderous and negative reviews because they have nothing better to do with their lives except blame a small business for their own mistakes. If you miss an appointment you are WASTING that technicians time. You aren’t allowing other customers to book in. I am willing to defend the business that goes above and beyond for their clients as they can’t say what needs to be said. If you don’t show up to your appointment that you booked online yourself after agreeing to their policy and then write a nasty review because you got charged you are incredibly privileged. Just because you’ve gone to the salon for years doesn’t mean anything. There’s no punch card this isn’t Jamba Juice. People need to start taking accountability and stop being jerks to people that call you when you’re a little late and sometimes text you to see where you are. They do their do diligence and unfortunately the time I didn’t show up I didn’t do mine. They send and email and a text when you book online after you make the appointment and the day before. I took accountability for myself unlike others. The contract you make when booking online is that you will show up to your appointment and agree if you DO NOT SHOW UP IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM you will be charged. This has been their policy for over 4 years as I’ve been going here since they opened 7 years ago. Anyways back to how wonderful everyone is at the salon. First off, the salon is beautiful. I love their neon light sign it's true there is no where else I'd rather be to get my nails done because this is where you're supposed to be. The salon is super clean, I have seen ever member of staff front desk and nail technicians clean almost every surface and I'm still amazed. I have gone to numerous technicians here and everyone leaves me with perfect nails and a smile to match. I started requesting some techs when want to do something specific. I started doing Dip with Tips loved it and staff informed me to try growing out my natural nails which I love. They grew to such a beautiful long length I was obsessed to see the least. Then one day Bisou said they were going to offer a new service, Gel-X. Honestly it's the best I do not want to try any other manicure service. I normally go to Ashley when I want to have a fun design, but the entire staff is extremely skilled and I'd trust them with my nails anytime. I have also gone here for waxing services and I love when I get Alison. She is super sweet and reshaped my brows into the best shape l've ever had. ANYWAYS if you've never been here please make an appointment you won't be disappointed. I love that you can call them or book online it makes life so much easier. I wish I could give Bisou more stars because they deserve it! LOVE IT HERE and will continue having the best nails around thanks to the lovely staff at Bisou. Thank you guys!Services: Sculpted nails

Lauren did my spray tan and it was AMAZING! She pays great attention to her job and is a wonderful hardworking woman! I would recommend her to anyone!
