The mission of Black Dragon Martial Arts and Wellness Center is to make our students more successful in life through the study and practice of the martial arts. We do this by instructing martial arts as a complete discipline (mind, body and spirit) which in addition to developing physical defense, encourages the formation of high personal standards and respect for our fellow men and women. The focus is on economically disadvantaged areas and communities. A major effort of the organization is to work with youth and young adults to prevent involvement with crime, drugs and gang-related activities. Through practice and teaching, our students service their community as role models and we strive daily to produce individuals who are positive, respected and contributing members of society.
