From Miami, to Chicago, DC to New Orleans, Dallas and Fort Worth I have been to some great cigar shops. I have never had the customer service that I have gotten from Joe. He personally takes the time to learn your taste and likes and what you're looking for out of your cigar. Best part is if you're new to the cigar game he will take the time to not only show you want to do i.e. cut, punch, light etc he'll take the time to explain why he does it that way. He truly wants you to have the best smoking experience you can have. He'll even order boxes of things he doesn't carry regularly as long as his supplier can get it. Every once in a while you can even catch some pretty rare sticks. Hidden Gem here in Blacksburg.
Without reservation, the best cigar shop and owner I've ever come across. Joe is the real deal, from a bygone era. He takes pride in his work and only ships me cigars that are properly aged, and only after being very clear what type of smoke I'd like. I had the pleasure of meeting Joe on his turf in May '22 and couldn't be happier to patronize and recommend him. Thanks pal! I often give friends a smoke and every one of them have been highly impressed!

Talked with the owner today. Very knowledgeable. The selection is very good. I Don't get to go that often, but my bank account, is ok with that!
Got 4 cigars a couple of days ago and two were fine but the other two were dry and crumbling at the ends. For a shop that specializes in cigars I thought their cigars would be fresh. Check your cigars before you leave this shop to be on the safe side. Will check other places out when I'm back in Blacksburg.
Joe and Peter are amazing folks. They get to know you and what you prefer as well as suggesting new things to add to the wheelhouse. Highly recommend! Wish they would open another lounge like Joe had at his restaurant in town. Nowhere around except a private lounge 35 miles away.
The owner Joe is a super helpful guy. I've been going there for years. They have a wide selection of cigars in their walk in humidor. The selection of tobacco pipes and pipe tobacco is top shelf. This is a great shop for aficionados and nooks alike.
The management was really nice the guy working who I think owns it was really helpful and went out of his way to help me choose a good blend and cigars. I could of not of asked for better service. He was also really funny and down to earth. I only with they had a bigger selection in cigars, and their hookahs are a bit to pricy go to Nice Dreams for those. All in all I highly recommend for all your tobacco products.
Great selection and amazing people. I have been going here for 3 years now and they've been nothing but helpful every time I have been in there. Blacksburg Pipe & Tobacco has been my first choice for tobacco products for the last 18 years. The respect the owners show for their products and clientele is unparalleled in my experience. Shipping, storing, and handling cigars is a delicate process, and it is one that is taken very seriously at BP&T. I have bought the exact same cigars from other tobacco stores as I have from BP&T, and the difference in quality is very apparent. I highly recommend this establishment.
