Inside is spacious. Free refills. Good customer service at the help desk. Movies lack surround sound in the theater. It is like the sound is only made for the people in the front. Nachos are a little stale, but the cheese is good. Overall, I recommend this movie theater for the deals and the service they provide !!!!
I had the pleasure of recently visiting the cinema and I must say, I was extremely impressed. The staff were friendly and warm, the atmosphere was great and the service was top-notch. The seating was comfortable and spacious, the sound was loud and clear, and the picture quality was spot on. It really felt like I was a part of the movie. The concessions stand had great popcorn and a large variety of food options for everyone. Plus, the prices were really reasonable. All in all, it was a great experience and I would definitely go back again. Highly recommend.
Overall great place. Only has 3 stars mainly because of the lack of alcoholic drinks after 10pm and the seats in the back row. To give you context, my movie started at 10pm and I drove from Springfield, Massachusetts. I had a great time here. The management here is AMAZING. I asked for a manager and got the best service. She was nice and took care of my cousin and I who drove an hour away to get here. Thank you for a great experience. The seats in the back row of the theater have a weird angle and you actually miss out on what's on the bottom portion of the screen when fully reclining. I'm unsure why this is but it created a bad experience for my friends and I. Other than that, the place is extremely clean, professional, and beautiful. The food was great. Cannot complain at all. Plus there were meal deals here which is always a plus. I wish alcohol was served with it but unfortunately alcohol was not an option as they were closed after 10pm.
We love showcase cinemas and are subscribe members. We typically go to the one in Warwick, RI, but decided to try this location. The theater was overcrowded and disorderly. It was hard to find napkins, butter, etc - and the employee was rude when we asked for help. The theater was not cleaned until the movie was just about to start. The website talks about reclining seats, but they aren’t the full ones - so don’t go for that if you are. I found them more uncomfortable that than old movie seats. It just wasn’t a good experience. We won’t be back.
Saw the new Ninja Turtle movie. It was my first time going to a theater in over 4 years. The food is still overpriced for the quality and quantity you get. The ticket prices were surprisingly low. It could've been because it was a Tuesday night, but I paid $53 for 5 people. That's roughly $9 a person. It's not too bad. The seats in the theater, theater 5, are showing their age. My seat spring was broken, which didn't affect me sitting in it, but the armrest cushions are junk. It was like resting your arms on two sharp plastic rails because the cushions are so flat.
Movie was great. Seats need to be replaced. You feel like you're sitting on the floor. Snack bar is good and bathroom cleanliness needs to improve a little. All in all I say it's Fair.
We saw Guardians of the Galaxy volume 3. Amazing movie. We pre-ordered our tickets and things went smoothly. Grateful for the assigned seating. Cinemas were relatively clean. Prices are a bit insane though. Overall experience was good, will go back again.
First time in the XP theater and it was an awesome experience. Mission Impossible dead reckoning part 1 was absolutely amazing. Excellent quality picture and theater shaking sound. I was surprised how clean the theater is and the bathrooms were actually very clean which is surprising compared to my last visit keep up the good work Blackstone Valley Cinema
The movie "Talk to me" was WAY too loud. Like crazy loud. And I don't mind loud things, but this was nuts! There was definitely something wrong with the volume or something so I spoke to the ticket seller to see if something could be done as we were the only ones there but evidently nothing could? Seriously? The movie was good but the experience was pretty painful. We both left with headaches. Worst experience at a movie theater.
The best movie theater in the area! Treat yourself to assigned seating in X-Plus!
