We ate at this restaurant 4 mornings in a row. The first time Tuesday, 9/5/2023 was a huge disappointment. The food was below average and the service wasn't that good. However, the rest of the days Wed 9/6 - Friday 9/8/2023, the food was great and the service was excellent! We had the same waitress from Wed-Friday different waitress on 1st experience. I'm glad we gave it another chance we wouldn't have, but the restaurant we wanted to try was closed on Wed, as our review would be much different otherwise. The 2nd waitress was personable, always filling up your coffee, etc. We will definitely come back here the next time we're visiting the area!

This was such an incredible place to grab food after kayaking around boulder bay for a couple hours. I almost forgot to take a picture because the food was so good that my whole party descended upon it! I got the tuna melt which might be the best tuna melt I’ve ever had and I tried my friends breakfast burrito which was incredible. The food did take a minute to get to the table but it was so worth it. There are more tables outside on their back patio if you’re there in the summer and I recommend eating out there if you can

The biscuits and gravy? What's really good. A little different than what I am used to. As it had what seemed to be smoked sausage in it instead of breakfast sausage. However, it was still very good, the people were beyond friendly. Highly recommend this place.Food: 5/5

Local favorite in Boulder Bay. Pleasant year round with indoor dining room and large patio for warm weather. A plus is their bakery items. Numerous pies all look yummy. Peanut butter balls are my favorite. Wedding and sugar cookies are great as well.Food: 4/5

This was the most outstanding breakfast my family ever had! We all ordered eggs Benedict, hash browns, and a side of biscuits and gravy. It was seriously fantastic. My husband is literally a chef and I never thought anyone could come close to his eggs Benedict, but this place did it. All of us ate every bite, even my 10 year old tiny daughter. The service was perfect and the food was ready in under 5 minutes. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant! Added bonus - nobody else was there, while every other place we tried had a long wait. And, the prices are the best I've seen in town. So happy we tried it! Highly recommend! Kid-friendliness: They treated my daughter very well.

Lovely breakfast for me and my wife and 3 year old. The staff are very kind, service fast, and food & coffee were excellent! Just what we needed on our way out of big bear. Indoor and outdoor dining available.Food: 5/5

My boyfriend and I visited this place on a Wednesday afternoon, it was pretty empty so we were happy since we prefer the quiet environment. The food wasn't great but it did give you that "home cooked" feel. The service was ok, the waiter did his job of frequently checking our table. The cherry pie was delicious! I will definitely be coming back!

To go-ed two slices of pie and some cookies! She heated up the boysenberry pie for us and we ate it at the park next door.

Good food and service, but I have to knock down a star simply for the lack of acceptance of credit cards and the very limited notice they give you before you commit to eating there. It's 2023, even homeless folks are taking Venmo now. Can't be that hard for a business to figure it out.Food: 5/5

Came in for brunch with my friends for a nice meal during our ski trip. Lady was very nice and attentive, food was amazing. Cod Sandwich and chicken fried steaks were really good. Will come back when I visit again!
