This was fun to check out, but the atmosphere was more bustling and the food more mediocre than I expected. I did see Eggslut in the area and should have tried that—menu looked great. I didn’t even try to donuts as they just looked too normal.Food: 4/5
Block 16 is the most reasonably priced food option in The Cosmo. There are five spots to choose from: Tekka Bar, District Donuts, Bang Bar, Hattie B’s, and Lardo. I’ve been to Bang Bar, Hattie B’s, and Lardo. I want to check out District Donuts, but I’m usually not around since I head to work early. Not sure about Tekka since sushi and hand rolls aren’t that unique to me, but it’s usually busy every time I pass it by.
Ordered Korean Pork Shoulder sandwich from Pig Out in the food hall. Sandwich was really good, fries were not the best I had. Fries were too oily compared to other places. Pork was delish.
District Donuts for a much needed pickme up after checking in at 1AM after a 13hr flight delay. Vegas price shock :- Donuts were OK, drip coffee had a strange taste. May have been the creamer. Most of the other places in the food hall was not open yet. Eggslut across the hall had a line that looked too daunting to wait in. so donuts and bad coffee it was.
This food court blows away your typical ones at most hotels. Forget about Panda Express and Burger King, the offerings at block 16 are unique, delicious, creative and serious about quality food.
Opted to eat breakfast here at 730 am and was NOT disappointed. The wait was not long. The food was so fresh and flavorful. The prices will NOT break the budget and when you leave you will be happy. Will definitely visit this place when i return.
Wow! Upscale food court?! As foodies we thought we’d try this out. In tow with 3 kids. I have to admit most of it is adult food depending on how advanced your child’s pallet it. But still able to find something for everyone. Most restaurants have a row of bar stools something you see in diners. There is a little nook in the middle that happens to have a booth and a couple of small tables. We were able to snag the booth for our family. Now what to eat... Sliders and fries and to wash it down with a lemonade...the District. Tender chicken, potato salad and mac and cheese head to Hattie B’s. Note even the mild had a little kick. So order accordingly. Something more... try to Pok Pok wings. A sweet sauce caramelized on the wings. Not very meaty but sure are tasty. Also had the Pad Thai noodles. Just beware as they give you extra fish sauce on the side and if you’re familiar with the smell it can set you off balance. Don’t hesitate the other options available. And if none here fit your likings just across the walkway with Chinese and Mexican available.
Good concept of street food. So far, only tried the District. It was very nice. Not too hard to find seating.
Over priced and over rated. Bang Bar closes early, and then there are no vegetarian options. A water alone is at least $12.
I wish there is an option for healthier foods such as for those that are: 1. lactose intolerant 2. Acid intolerant 3. Greasy, fatty intolerant That way, everyone is happy. Equal food enjoyment opportunity for all. If there is an option like this then more people would be served happily without just favoring those with no food allergies. Isn’t it time to have this now? I would think so. Hopeful for a response.
