First time at The Halal Guys. I had a coupon for a platter so I decided to take the drive down to this location. Lots of people enjoying their lunch inside, that was nice to see. Was genuinely greeted when I came in and they were in the process of finishing my order so it was super fresh. The white sauce is addicting and their hot sauce is LEGIT hot, I was super happy. I will say my only critique is that the rice could be more flavorful, but the tasty sauces help. The beef was good and I liked the freshness of the tomatoes and lettuce. I would say that I'm impressed for this being a chain "fast food" type restaurant. Will be coming back again.
The food quality and quantity was really good. Loved the taste. But if you don't like too spicy food, stay away from the red chili sauce. I like medium spicy food still it was spicy for me. But overall will recommend the food.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: Yes
I am shocked at how much I liked the chicken platter. I ordered delivery on Uber eats and they got 99% of my order correct including the extra chicken. Only thing they forgot was the cutlery I requested. When I order delivery and request extra meat I am used to them not doing it but Hala guys did. The white sauce was delicious the taste of the chicken also delicious. When I went to NY I didn’t eat here cause I thought I wouldn’t like it. I wish I had one close to my house I would eat here at least weekly. The fries were also good and they were just warm not hot. I rarely ever eat fries that aren’t hot but I ate every single one of these. The regular chicken platter was a huge portion.
The food was great. I had a chicken and steak platter and it was good I was just disappointed at 1, they had no lamb and 2, there is no white garlic sauce. I ate the food because it was still good but I give it 4 stars because of the 2 upsets. I'm from Detroit and we have garlic sauce there.
Dairy allergy and they put tsizi on A lot on. And o even confirmed not to and she acknowledged. Then the wrap fell apart immediately- no way to hold it after it was all over the place - ruined So that whole plat was inedible because of the dairy you put on after I asked not clearly. And the wrap was inedible because it was all smashed w hummus and feel apart . Completely uneditable and I ordered and paid for a water which I thought was in the bag and walked all the way back to my tower and couldn’t come back to Down by that put. I want a full refund or I will have enlighten folks on how terrible and expensive this is $45 for a plate and a warp and water Dietary restrictions: Dairy allergy and they put tsizi on A lot on. For a 24/7 store this is so poor in terms of quality and customer service. Strictly no cards only cash keep that in mind. Not going back!
Always had a good experience with halal guys cart in NYC. This was no way near. The rice, the protein and the pita bread were all cold. Also found this huge chunk of uncooked, raw garlic in my platter. Shocking!
Senaia was the business!! This woman is a whole vibe. She took customer service to a whole new level. She was friendly, witty and definitely made it the most comfortable experience we have ever had coming here. It really felt like coming to grandmas house and we had to try everything. She mentioned options we never ever heard of. We tried some new stuff and super glad she was there!
I ordered Halal Guys through Grub Hub it was recommended as a great place by my family. However I was disappointed by the quality of my order. I ordered 4 combo plates and they all had overcooked beef. The chicken pieces were dried and the tomatoes that came with the plates did not look or taste fresh. The rice was okay and the bread was stale. all in all I was not satisfied with my order. I hope this is not the norm as I would be giving it another chance in the future.
First time at halal guys. I have heard about it from my friends and co workers who have traveled to the east coast. The gyro platter and gyro sandwich are both great! I also ordered the fries and a drink. The fries were fresh and crunchy. It had a distinctive taste. The beef is pretty good especially with their signature white sauce. I will definitely be back in the near future.
