I really enjoyed my time here. I went here for my freshman and sophomore years and it was a blast. The building is pretty and very comfortable. Classrooms are nice. Overall the teachers were good. I especially loved my physics teacher he also lead a physics club---- fun!, my biology teacher and my art teacher Ms Birzins, she also lead there art club---- awesome!! I only with that overall academic program would be more challenging.
Everyone has a place where everything clicks! I felt that I clicked at South High School! Had such a wonderful experience while I was there! BHSS is diverse. And even the shyest student can make the tiniest effort and walk away with lifelong friends! And the campus is very beautiful!
Horrible experience. Principals did nothing, teachers knew nothing, peers were basically all bullies, do not go to Bloomington High School South for it is probably one of the worst schools in Bloomington. Go to Bloomington High School North or literally anywhere else.
Principles didn't do anything and I just got bullied. Personally I think north is better
Great teachers, but they favor athletics over academics.
I wish it was easier to my son help here, because it's a beautiful school.
Great faculty, great facility, and compassionate community. Miss every minute of it....
Let's put this simply. There are pros and cons.
North is better
