Blue Mesa Metal Arts is run by the Brother-Sister duo of Liz & Adam Nunn. We are a locally owned family run business who specializes in bringing your imagination to life.
Blue Mesa Metal Arts produces a wide range of products. We are limited only by our customer’s imagination. From small wall hangings to large ranch signs, yard art to stair rail and fence inserts, we can design and produce it all.
Blue Mesa Metal Arts is unique in that all our pieces are designed in-house. We do not use clip art or buy designs. Many of our pieces are painted and detailed by hand. Our pieces are of heirloom quality that can be handed down and enjoyed for generations.
We can provide a number of different finishes from bare metal, aged (rusted) metal, conventional paints, Epoxy paints, powder coating, and even chrome. We use a lot of different types of paints, depending on what effect we are looking for. It may be enamel, acrylic, and sometimes lacquer. We also use alcohol inks as well as different chemicals in order to achieve the desired effect. We can finish with a number of different patinas including copper. This is followed by three or more coatings of automotive grade clear coat.
Depending on the piece, we prefer to use ten or eleven-gauge cold roll steel when possible. This translates into approximately 1/8 of an inch thick. Most of our competition uses 14 or even 16 gauge. This translates to approximately 1/16 of an inch. We find we not only have a better looking piece but also a more durable piece when using 10 or 11 gauge. Of course the thickness can vary, depending on the piece and the customer’s requirement or preference. We can cut pieces out of a number of metals including cold roll, hot roll, stainless, aluminum, and copper.

In stock pieces are priced, however custom order pieces will be priced depending on a number of factors including but not limited to size, finish and metal used.
