“We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will.” -Chuck Palahniuk
This started as a hobby when I was a kid and as I got older and learned more and experimented, I fell in love. When I was sixteen I came very close to attending the International Center of Photography in New York, but life got in the way. So, I've been trying to teach myself as much as I can, along with the help of my great friends, Vada and Jared who are also apart of the Dizzy Focus crew.
I'm almost glad I didn't get to go to ICPNY. I don't believe in art school of any form other than graphic arts. I don't believe that art, well talent, can be taught. Even if someone has the best equipment or the most expensive tools, that doesn't make them any good. If you have talent.. the medium shouldn't matter.
Having said all that above, my two partners in crime are the best I could ever have along side me. I've never met anyone with more passion and creativity. We're determined to create something bigger than ourselves doing what we love.
My gut tells me that Dizzy Focus won't just... whither away. This photography project is meant to go somewhere other than just the southern United States. Dizzy Focus has three very large hearts and passions guiding it, we won't be quiet forever <3
My purpose in this life is to make people happy. Who says I can't do that with pictures? My mission or my goal is to make people smile and maybe even leave them breathless one day. While bettering myself and my skills, I hope to reach out across the Georgian border and help the rest of the nation see what a beautiful time we live in.
Pictures, all kinds! Short, tall, long, wide, dark, light, good, bad, happy, sad, pretty, ugly, silly, serious.. you name it, we do it. ;)
