Blue Mountain Restaurant

Cool place to stop. The service was amazing and the food was very good. I ordered the steak salad and it was served promptly. The whole restaurant is covered in cool decor. I was able to walk upstairs and wow it’s pretty cool. Highly recommend for a cool interesting place to eat.

Surprised to see it dead on a Friday evening but was just before classes started so maybe no crowd in town. Great smell of bbq smoke upon entering the dining room. Food was great; we got Brussels sprouts as an appetizer. 4 stars because server wasn't very interested in anything but chatting with a table of her friends across the dining room

We rode our motorcycles up from Cedar Rapids for lunch just over 600 miles round trip. Worth every mile. Seated by the owner, attended to by a staff member who most certainly assisted the owner in writing the book "Hospitality 101". I highly recommend this establishment to one and all. Can't see how you can go wrong. Thank You Blue Mountain !!!! Om

We had our wedding at the barn next to the restaurant and had the restaurant cater our meal. It was great! The barn was an awesome venue!

Initially thought would be a great place to Bring family for a nice evening. But.. ordered an appetizer that was not served. Got one drink , only saw the waitress taking, delivering and the bill for the dinner. Then asked if we were gonna hang. The food was good but left still hungry, no salad or bread with dinner. Prices high for no extras. Would have paid for extras if necessary. Anniversary dinner felt rushed. Will probably not go back. Thursday night didn't appear to be busy.

We don't ever go out on dates per we usually have our children and this night we didn't and we wanted to try something new. We drove about 25 minutes and it was well worth the drive. The serving staff as well as the cooking staff all said hi to us when we walked in they all had smiles. They were very friendly! Or server knew the menu extremely well! He came around more times then I could count! He over heard us talking about it being an over due anniversary date and asked me how long we had been together when my SO was in the restroom and when I asked for a dessert he said it was on the house! We both loved the food! We will definitely be back!

Food was ok. Some stuff hot but some just warm. Service was good. Coffee was extremely tasty. Very shaky chair at our table. It needed repair and we did not use it. The upstairs was hot. Must have been close to 80 degrees. Parking lot was pretty slick. So a lot of little negatives but they add up.

Some of the best food in Orange City. Never had something I didn't like here. Lunch prices are moderate but worth it. The wait staff is very friendly and the food comes rather quickly during lunch. Highly recommend the Smokehouse Hot Beef Sandwich off the lunch menu. It's a good amount of food for the price. You'll definitely come back for it!

We have been here twice. Excellent food. Comfortable. Great atmosphere. The last time, our waitress seemed really busy and didn't come around much. But we didn't really need anything so we were okay.

Awesome food with a quiet high-end atmosphere. Varied menu- burgers, pizza, ribs, seafood, steaks, all at reasonable prices. We've never had a bad meal yet. Beautiful outside seating is available. The crab-stuffed salmon is my favorite dish.
