Only 4 stars and not 5 because it was $22 dollars for 22 pages to fax documents. That's a little pricey per page... $1. It used to be like 25c to 60c ha But other than that, beautiful library, friendly and warm welcoming atmosphere and staff with a cute little hot cocoa area $1 per coffee pod or hot cocoa pod. Great hours. I like that the library is open late till 8pm most days.
I recently had the pleasure of exploring again, and the staff is still awesome. The vast collection, organized layout, and helpful staff made my experience enjoyable. Whether you're a casual reader or a research enthusiast, this library provides a welcoming atmosphere and valuable resources. Like all of Blue Ridge Libraries...Highly recommended! Easily accessible with plenty of parking.
Kayla made my experience at the library extremely pleasant! I had no idea how to use my cell to get copies, but Kayla was patient and very knowledgeable, areal Doll.
Friendly staff, it was clean and very quiet which is something I look for in a good library, however there's not much a a selection when it comes to young adult & teen books. The librarian did say we could have stuff order/shipped but it would be great to have more of a selection on the shelves!
Martinsville VA. Library, was great today. Been going since moving to Martinsville. Staff is so nice, helpful. So much goes on there. Check it out.
I am impressed with the excellent services that he BRRL system has offered during the pandemic. Not only for children, the library branches offers treats for adult patrons as well, and the offerings have been very nice and creative. I appreciate the curb service now especially, but the little giveaways add a special treat when I pick up my books. Thanks to the librarians for being focused on such excellent service during this pandemic.
Made some copy’s.nice person behind counter.
Helpful staff and a well stocked facility.
By far, this is the LOUDEST library I have ever been to. There are lots of people talking loudly including the staff, people playing music over there phone speakers, and people taking phone calls throughout the library. I could not find a single space of peace and quiet. It’s extremely frustrating when you need a quiet place, and the library is your typical place to go, yet not this library. You’d be better off going to walmart if you want quiet.
The Library lady is very nice I go often for free WiFi and computer that being their covid-19 precautions are excellent and well planed if they would have opened for Christmas I would have broke the scale with six stars instead of five
