"Blue Stone Dive Resort is a former slate quarry, the lake occupies 19.5 acres of the 305 acre property. The property was purchased by the late Robert Outlaw in 1994 and is now owned by his wife Janet Hill Outlaw. The was named for the blue slate found in the quarry. In addition to numerous man man-made attractions, you will see many fish water fish, such as, Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Paddlefish, Japanese Koi and in late summer nonstinging freshwater jelly fish. We offer complete rental and provide guests with lodging accommodations and indoor bathrooms with hot showers. Blue Stone also has paddle boards for rent.
