This place was a joke! I went here with my soon to be 2 year old son , he has a speech delay and doesn’t understand much! We came to get his hearing checked to rule out that being a potential cause for his delay. We get there & wait for over an HOUR. We go back, sit for 20 more minutes then a lady takes us to another room to start his hearing test. We sit down with an older gentleman and he asked me to hold my son. He went to put the device in my sons ear and he started crying , the guy instantly says “ oh no we can’t do this if he’s going to cry , let’s take you back to the other room” then a different doctor checks my sons ears and recommends a clinic in Lexington that may be able to work with my son better. Appointment at 3:15 and we didn’t get out till 5:30! What a joke , I don’t understand why I wasn’t sent to Lexington to begin with if they weren’t able to screen toddlers and the guy didn’t even try twice! My son cried once and he sent us away. My son was so upset because of the ridiculous wait time. I was so angry I almost walked out. This is definitely not a baby or toddler friendly clinic.
Dr. Makdessian is great at what he does. I've felt better this past 2 years than I had my whole life living with undiagnosed allergies. He's friendly and takes time to listen to your concerns. The wait times may be longer than expected, but that's only because he's given each patient the time that they need to talk about their diagnosis. He's a doctor that I feel like I'd worth waiting for. I highly recommend his office.
The doctor is amazing, the office and office staff are worthless. Prepare to wait for hours past your appointment time in a lobby crowded with 30 other irritated patients and children running around screaming like idiots while the office staff ignores the chaos and continues to overbook the next day.
The dr is obviously good he's been doing it for 25 years but I had a bad experience with a lady who lied to me about something and caused me to come to a surgery that the dr didn't agree to do until my baby was seen by a pediatrician to make sure she didn't have an infection first, I was told she'd be checked out by the dr before hand but the dr said he never said that. The office desk was very nice and the office manager was very nice as well. Please make sure u get word from the dr that it's safe to do the surgery, if u fed them after 12 which is NOT allowed, the anesthesiologist may Say its okay for up to 4 hours before but the DOCTOR is NOT okay with that it is dangerous bc they can throw up and aspirate while under the gas. i don't know if they have good communication or not but the anesthesiologist said it was okay but the dr said no bc my daughter fed a couple times after 12 and it's not safe no matter what the anesthesiologist says make sure the dr knows and go by them. They will say no bc that's the rule! I don't appreciate the lady lying to me and being as rude as she was at times.
We first get there the lady at the check-in was completely rude, and when I asked a question about the new patient paperwork she got an attitude. Second we waited in the lobby for over 2 and a half hours While waiting several other people were talking about how long they had been waiting. once we get called back to see the doctor we STILL wait another 40-45 mins before the doctor came in!!! He was in the room 5 mins, and we had so many questions left unanswered completely ridiculous and waste of time! To the lady at the front desk Shelia I believe is what you said your name is. If you don’t like your job, or working with the public please find another one so you don’t have to work with people. It’s unnecessary all the people you had an attitude with, and were short with when they had a question. To the doctor you need to reevaluate your staff, and schedule.
Great Dr's explain everything the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is not the Dr .The front staff doesn't seem to ever know what you are there for even 2nd visit in 3 days
Don't get allergy tested here. You'll have three times the appointments and copays. We've had it done at other places in just one appointment. They gave all sorts of reasons. They blamed insurance, which isn't true. Then they said their practice was too small. But making me come back for another appointment to discuss my results even after I've gotten my results, or making me wait until another appointment to test even though I've not used antihistamines for over a month is just shady. Reasons kept changing. When I was done doing business with them, they suddenly were able to offer an exception. I feel for all the other patients that have been convinced by this office that paying the extra time and money is necessary.
Great bedside manner and general presence. But most importantly he changed my life when he diagnosed me with sleep apnea that I had more than likely had since my mid teens, I'm 32 now. This treatment has turned a black and white world back into color and I don't even want to imagine what my world would have looked in the future if not for this life changing diagnosis. This man certainly earned my trust and he took the time to speak with me and thoroughly explain what was going on with me.
Very professional and helpful with all our family's allergy needs. Wait times can be long even when having an appointment.
Every single appointment has been over an hour and a half late. They overbook constantly and do not care how long you have to wait. The counter staff is cold, rude, and does not care how long you have to wait. 4 appointments and all 4 were an hour and a half late.....and all were before lunch....how can you get behind so fast?!?!?! Pitiful
