"Our emergency and specialty pet hospital is located in Midvale and draws clients from much of Utah, including Alpine, Bountiful, Farmington, Herriman, Riverton, Salt Lake City, Sandy, South Jordan, Taylorsville, West Jordan and West Valley City. Our pet hospital, formerly Utah Veterinary Center, is equipped for diagnostic techniques that include ultrasound, endoscopy and CT scanning, among others. Our 15,000-square-foot hospital is a few blocks from an exit for Interstate 15, making it convenient to Salt Lake City and highways that link parts of the Wasatch Front."

My dog was in an altercation with another dog and in need of emergency care. BluePearl staff were friendly, reassuring and got her in immediately due to her injuries. They treated her, myself and my kids like a family unit not making us wait and worry. They did not try to order a bunch of unnecessary tests or procedures. She was able to return home same night with detailed instructions on her care. Even though they are not the closest pet hospital to my home I will make sure to return to them if another pet emergency occurs.
I can’t express enough how grateful I am to this company and its staff. There were so many people I could name but Deana and Ryann were absolutely incredible. Losing one of your pets is such a difficult experience, but everyone made my mother and I feel so loved. They’re patient, kind, thoughtful… They truly went above and beyond for me and my Ratty I’ll always remember my experience here, and I’ll be recommending this location every time!
BluePearl is full of friendly staff and people who genuinely care about your animals. We brought our little Tucker in, and they were so kind and caring with him. He unfortunately did pass, and we received a hand written letter from them with flower seeds to plant in his memory. If you need someone who cares about your furry friend as much as you do, I highly recommend coming here
the team here is very sweet, understanding and accommodating. we had just finished a late shift at work only to come home to our puppy really not doing well. we rushed him over and they took really good care of him and did everything they could. ultimately we had to put the little guy to sleep and i could tell the vet was upset about it too. they handled everything amazingly and i just want to thank them for everything they did. they also sent us a handwritten note and his paw and nose print. RIP little orange
My new little puppy almost died three days after getting him. He’d had a seizure and I didn’t know what was happening. I took him to bluepearl and they knew within a short amount of time, he was too low in glucose. They gave him the best care and updated me along the way. It was so nice to see him back to normal after they gave him the best care. He is happy and healthy now, but it threw me for a loop, it all happened so fast. Oh
The wait was long but understandable as there were emergencies being addressed. A technician took vital signs almost immediately and since my dog’s signs were good, I had no problem with the wait. The technician was wonderful and checked on us several times as we waited. Dr. Schiffer was the vet we saw and she was excellent and flexible. My dog had gastroenteritis and they treated her with knowledge and very professionally with great patience. Outstanding vet and great service. Very pleased with the way my visit was handled. I have been to other emergency vets and this has been the best one I’ve been to. I would not hesitate to use them again. Their prices were very reasonable and they kept it within my budget. Five stars for an excellent experience at Blue Pearl.
Really good experience at Blue Pearl today. Very caring nurses and Dr was kind and attentive. They were all so sweet and gentle with my old girl, Shadow and super conscientious about having a budget limitation. But my favorite part, aside from my Shadow being ok, was this... ‍‍‍
I will ALWAYS take my cats here when I have an emergency. They are the absolute BEST. Everyone is kind and friendly. I also feel like they genuinely care about my cats. Even my spicy elderly cat. Other vet places have been dismissive or even annoyed of her. Not Blue Pearl! They understand her personality and it's appreciated so much. I know your jobs are not easy at all but you still don't let it get in the way of being compassionate to the animals and their humans. Thank you so much!
This clinic saved my dogs life. Remi is a 7 year old female GSH pointer full on energy and Within a few hours my dog went from greeting me with loves when I got home from work to unable to walk or even hold her head up. We had no idea what was going on. Brought her in to the clinic they rushed her right back. With a heart rate in the 40s, low temperature, basically her body was shutting down. The staff knew exactly what to do. Within a hour at the clinic they tested her for Addison disease. Something I have never even heard of. She got the treatment she needed and within 24 hours she is walking, eating and back to being her happy self. They were willing to work out a price we could afford. My family and I appreciate everything you all have done for us.
I waited over 4 hours. I was "next in line to be seen".... Or so I was told. I sat and watched multiple other patients come and go.... I understand critical condition patients getting right in for the help they need. However this wasn't the case for all of the parties who came in after me and were helped before my dog. It made it seem as though they were not really concerned about the condition of my dog. I came in for an x-ray, waited patiently for over 4 hours, then removed myself from the patient list and left. Also just to spread awareness for the ongoing problematic spread of distemper. In the time I spent waiting at this place, at least one confirmed case of distemper came through the door. Others were possible but I was not sure as to the results of those. The case that was confirmed was a dog who came in sick. He was laying on the floor walking around on a leash. With owners as well as staff showing no sort of concern for sterilization following his path... I am not one to complain but I feel like it is my right as well as responsibility to be the voice of my pet. I feel as though she was put off and not treated fairly, no sense of priority or urgency. Judging a book by its cover, BluePearl, I would say is a state-of-the-art facility with the potential to help animals in need in many ways. One bad experience doesn't mean it's a bad place. It just didn't work out for me...
